** UPDATED DECEMBER 23rd **
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit officially supports the following steering wheels:
PS3
Generally all steering wheels based on the PS3 controller will function in NFS Hot Pursuit. Also note that all Logitech “Driving Force” wheels, plus the top-end G25 and G27 wheels are supported
Xbox 360
We officially support the Microsoft wheel but any Xbox 360 wheel will most likely work fine.
PC
For PC we support all X input or Direct X compatible controllers, in other words, they’ll all work and will need to be configured in the game.
Wii
For Wii we support the Mario Kart wheel and compatible.

Who makes controller based wheels for the PS3 anymore? I had a cheap on for the PS2, but they're all USB now. That's how the controller plugs in. So is the logitech DFGT wheel. It's USB and has all the PlayStation 3 buttons on it. This is a total joke. Add the wheels that were made for the PS3!!!! They are made by Logitech.

What kind of answer is "Generally all steering wheels based on the PS3 controller"????
How about a list of these wheels. Is the Fanatic 911 on this list? Maybe people might want to know for sure a wheel is on the list before they shell out $500 for a wheel. What about the Thrustmaster Wheel as well? and the big question why would anyone make a game that supports any wheel except the most popular brand of wheels for the PS3???

Drew:
My Logitech G25 wheel+pedals works fine on NFS-HP(3) for PC, EXCEPT the game currently does NOT allow Manual Transmission (only Automatic shift & Automatic clutch). I want to use Manual sequential paddle-shifting (with manual or auto-clutch). Please tell Criterion to add Manual shift modes to the game.
TIA.

This is a NIGHTMARE!!! I just found out Hot pursuit doesnt support the Logitech g27!! How can the developers not include the support!! This is an OUTRAGE, Me and my friends want this game but cant buy it because we rather play racing games on our 300$ LogitecH g27 wheels!! EA PLEASE DO SOMETHING, This is the ONLY thing keeping me and my buds from buying this game. I would like to get the same great racing experience i had in NFS shift.
PLEASE add Logitech wheel support for GAMERS sake.
thank you.

I will be returning my copy unopened as soon as I get it (I pre-ordered it)
Very disapointed - looked forward to playing the game with my Logitech wheel, big screen TV, etc - thought this was going to be a great driving game with my PS3
Can't believe you would make a drivnig game, and prevent the use of the driving wheel
I will keep watch - if/when the wheel get's added, I can't wait to buy it again

I can't describe how pissed off I am to find out the Logitech wheels doesn't work with this game. Are you guys F*&%$&ing RETARDED? Look at the day and age your in where all anyone wants is to have things as realistic as possible, and you don't allow the only decent racing wheel PS3 has got to work with your game. F*&%$&ing * move EA. I bought my first playstation because of need for speed and I have faithfully purchased every sony edition (including PSP) of Need For Speed. If you don't fix this screw up I don't think I'll ever buy any of your games again. (unless you get the COD franchise away from activision and infantry ward. lol good luck....)

I have bought every NFS title since the first one. However after 15 minutes playing Hot Pursuit (PC version since PS3 version has no Logitech support) with my G27 I have uninstalled the game. It is completely hopeless. Its a console game with no wheel support. You need to turn the wheel a quarter turn before anything happens. The wheel just works like a gamepad joystick - either you are turning or not turning. You don't actually steer. And there is no force feedback. How can the publisher of Porsche Unleashed (10 years ago !) release such rubbish? Gran Turismo is so brilliant in the way it supports wheel and gamepad completely naturally. Just copy that, noone expects you to be creative for goodness' sake!

But no Force Feedback supported for Logitech MOMO PC Version.
