Need for Speed Racing Games

this isn't really an idea from EA just an idea for a new NFS i've been kicking around in my head for a while. enjoy
Need for speed offroad game plan(i'm not sure if "offroad" would fit into the current titles maybe somthing like need for speed dust or somthing would be better)

NFS Dust

In this game it’s continued from under cover. After busting casey lynn you move out to navada (around the same place as the speed runs in prostreet). While you are there you get involved once again in some less than legal racing activity, except the venue isn’t quite the same. Out here the racing involves trucks with lift kits and brush guards that race on continuous jumps worthy of trophy trucks. There are paved roads sometimes but you are mostly on dirt, gravel roads and mud. You start out with $20,000 and your first vehicles you get to choose from is an 89 F-150 @ 8000 a 2000 jeep Wrangler @10,000 and a 2004 Dodge Dakota sxt for 12,000. Your first race is against the car lot owner named Neville (back from Carbon) who is driving a blue and black Dakota with a brush guard, ram air hood and lift kit but no performance mods. You race on a small dirt track with a small jump. If after that you decide you like the truck you can buy it. You get bonus style points by drifting and catching air. You lose them by crashing into obstacles, traffic (this can trash your truck) and other drivers. Style points in the end are added and are turned into additional cash. Damage stays on a vehicle until you repair it at the safe house for a fee proportionate to the amount of damage. Day time and night time are both used in game play. After this win you receive $500 plus additional style cash and you go to freeroam. On the map you are at the car lot. On the sms Neville tells you about the map and locations your first mission is to go to the safe house. You go onto a road and a cop passes in a new Durango cop truck. A short message displays on the sms that tells you about cops. If you are going too fast (over 60 mph) and you pass a cop pursuit will start. You drive to the garage you meet up with Jamie who shows you around the safe house. You can have sixteen vehicles.
• Free roam- return to free roam
• Main menu- return to main menu
• Manage Vehicles- here you can choose which truck you are driving and tune the performance settings and change between already purchased parts. You can also sell your vehicle. The amount you will get for a vehicle is dictated by original price, condition and upgrades added.
• Manage Crew- here you can change your active crew member and modify the performance of the crew members vehicles with your own money.
• World Map- jump strait to a race or mission.


On the map there is a purple logo that looks like a wrench. This is Leroy’s shop. In Leroy’s shop you get five choices. Autosculpt™, performance, visuals, aftermarket and repair (vehicle cannot be customized unless it is completely repaired).


In Autosculpt™ you can change anything from your hood to your wheels. There are multiple body categories which include wheels, hood, front bumper, rear bumper, side skirt, lights, grill, chop top and exhaust(cannot be changed unless you have aftermarket engine and rear bumper/side skirts (depends on where you want the exhaust) each exhaust has a different sounds depending on the vehicle). Each category has only two choices the rest are locked except chop top which is completely locked.

In performance all the mods are locked at first.
• Engine- improves acceleration and overall horsepower
• Transmission- improves acceleration
• Suspension- improves handling each tier you go up on this modification raises the ride height
• Tires- increases handling and acceleration (each tier has larger tires than the last)
• Brakes- increases stopping performance.
• Supercharger/turbocharger- all superchargers above tier 1 require and aftermarket to accommodate the extra space needed.
• N2O
The stats on your vehicle are real units such as horsepower, torque, 60-0, top speed and max Gs.

In visual there is…
• Vinyl-this is free location just like the past nitro, shift, undercover, prostreet and carbon. It also has mirror and quadrants to more quickly place your stickers and a full range of colors to choose from. Vinyls cannot be placed on windows unless set to do so in the window tint settings.
• Decals-free location, mirror, quadrants and colors are also available on this but these can be put on both body and windows.
• Paint-includes full range of colors and finishes including gloss, metallic, matte, candy, iridescent, pearlescent, nickel and chrome. All body parts can be individually colored. Ex. The body can be black while the front bumper is yellow and side skirts are white (the chrome parts of the side skirts and bumpers are not affected by paint color).
• Trim (this is where you change the color of trim and other chrome items such as side steps and brush guards) Full range of finishes including matte, chrome, nickel and metallic.
• Window tint-full range of color and tint intensity. Individual windows can be tinted different colors or not tinted at all. Ex. The windshield can be clear while the back window is strait black and the windows are half blue. In this setting you can turn vinyls on or off which means when it is on with a certain window vinyls will be seen on that window but not the others.
• Wheel paint-full range of colors and finishes including metallic, matte, chrome and nickel.
• Engine accent-full range of colors and finishes. This color cannot be customized unless you have at least tier one engine upgrade. Engine parts are changed every time you upgrade the engine (like in underground 1).
• Brake calipers- full range of colors and finishes. Color cannot be changed unless you have aftermarket brakes. Different brakes have different looks.
• Neons-full range of colors and can go under hood on under carriage and inside trunk (this is only available on SUV’s)
• Light color-full range of colors and brightness on all lights including roof and grill lights.
After market includes
• Wheels-includes many sizes and styles
• Hood-includes many styles in both carbon fiber and normal.
• Body kit-consists of bumpers and sideskirts (side skirts may have chrome side steps) all connected together and cannot be modified. Wider bodykits will increase your handling performance.
• Lights-all shapes and styles for each vehicle. Can be added to roof or roll bars.
• Grill- many styles that are different for every vehicle
• Bed/trunk-this choice depends on whether the vehicle in question is a pickup or an SUV. Bed upgrades include covers, roll bars (help to reduce damage from rolling) and bed materials. Trunk upgrades include speakers, LCDs, nitrous tanks and amps.
• Brush guards-many choices. A good investment for it will greatly reduce damage taken from frontal hits.
• Mirrors-make your choice…big and rugged or small and discrete.

Each category has only one or two choices at beginning and the rest are locked.

In repair you can repair your vehicle which is needed to maintain performance and customize vehicle.

Driving…
In free roam or races/missions your vehicle will respond with the modifications that you have made in the garage. Every time you crash you will damage your vehicle. Each hit will effect both cosmetic and performance aspects of your vehicle. Frontal crashes can damage your front bumper and hood as well as your engine and steering response, so be careful.

During free roam you can stop in large icons to enter events
?Races are indicated by a green checkered flag. Many are just for cash and fun but some are required to advance in your career as well as make some money and are indicated by blue checkered flags on the map. Sometimes you will come to a boss race which is indicated by a gold checkered flag in which you race a very skilled driver for pinkslips. These races are required to advance in your career but be weary because if you lose the race you’ll lose your ride.

?Missions are required to advance in your career and do not result in any money but each mission completed will reward you with new unlocks and even custom parts. Missions are indicated on the map by a red question mark.

Race types
• Circuit- a continues race on a rough trail for a predetermined number of laps if you go off the trail you get five seconds to get back on it or you forfeit the race
• Sprint- a point to point race on a rough trail. If you go off the trail you get five seconds to get back on it or you forfeit the race.
• Enduro- race form checkpoint to checkpoint but the way you get there is up to you. No boundries.
• Hill climb- find the best route up a steep hill to achieve the fastest time.
• Drift- slide with style across dirt and mud. Be careful because drivers ahead of you will kick up dust, dirt and rocks that can damage your vehicle as well as obscure your vision.
• Legal- unlocked after signing on with Drew. No traffic, no obstacles. only you, the closed in track, seven other drivers(no crew member) and the fans.
• Crew Race- choose a crew member to help you win the race.
• Time Trial-try to beat the record for the fastest time from point A to point B. these are races from Leroy and result in free custom parts.
Pursuit.
If you pass a police vehicle above the speed limit (usually 60mph) pursuit will start. The fuzz has different levels of heat depending on how long pursuit continues. Be careful as when you come to a road block if you try to smash through it you could total if you hit it in the wrong spot and/or if you don’t have a brush guard. If pursuit starts and you just immediately pull over the cop will pull behind you and after you get busted he will simply issue a $50 ticket the first time. The second time it will be a $150 ticket and the third time your truck will receive an impound strike.
Heat Level 1; max of three dodge durangos in pursuit
Heat Level 2; max of eight dodge durangos in pursuit
Heat Level 3; max of eight dodge Durangos and three ford explorer sport tracs and traffic is deactivated
Heat Level 4; max of six ford explorer sport tracs and jet will show up in the pursuit. Once in a while you will come to a roadblock.
Heat Level 5; Jet and ten Explorer sport tracs and you may come across spike strips which will make escape almost impossible.
Heat Level 6; you will get shot at by a helicopter and if you are caught the game is over. You are arrested and imprisoned.


This time around there is no sissy techno music. Only shake your bones rattle your stones rock and roll!

OK... Not sure I would tie in the previous gameplay from Undercover. That's a bit too much, huh?

that's ok. but u like the vehicle line up? i got almost every truck suv and crossover i could think of on there.

Well, if EA plans to expand the NFS franchise to the offroad racing genre I think this would be the sweetest idea.
Hope you've registered your idea as it could be "borrowed" or copied by racing games developers.
In my opinion, I think that EA should expand the NFS franchise to offroad genre. I haven't played a decent offroad game since 4x4 Evolution or 4x4 Evo 2 and I'm sure that there are many who enjoy this racing genre.

LOL, just remembered that a car manufacturer from my country (manufacturer called Dacia, owned by Renault) is going to release soon an offroad model called Duster !!

P.S. Good song list, I know and like more than half of that list, the others I will search for.

ok, sweet, but it sounds like a continuation of nfs underground 2 if you'd change first few accents but i would sure buy your game if it would get to shops (playstation versions only please).

You forgot the Chevy S10 ZR2. I would kill for an offroad game to let me drive my actual truck. It seems to be overlooked a lot.

if they do it will be a huge crsh and burn because the biggest parts of this game is the auto sculpt and the custom vinyl placment and those are solely regestered to EA games so they couldn't make it any good.

well i think that ea might actualy do this because right now there trying to apeal to more game buyers

iv been sending ideas to nfs and i kinda know one of the guys at nfs so ill tell him about it and make sure ur the 1 who gets credit for the idea

no problem i want this game to come out it sounds relly awsome

i just spent two hours making a storyline for the game and i have found that it is very interesting. if you give me your email i can send it to you but i don't want to post it publicly otherwise it will ruin the story for the people who buy it.

I would love to see the story, but I'd perfer it to be sent in a personal message (that cute little button at the bottom of this post with the funny looking little blue ear and the letters pm). Putting your e-mail out on the internet where everone can see it is a no-no.
