Just wondering if all online players are real, or are some of them AI bots when a real player is not available?

I thought so

Only had the game for a few hours and it was obvious that some where bots. Takes that shine of it somewhat.

How can they be avoided? Do they have specific names?

It's hard to distinguish them from real players before the match starts. AItest565 is one of them that I remember. The only real indication is that they play....well, like a computer, very few unforced errors.

No bots. It was a joke. Why seemed it obvious for you that some were bots?

As you say, they just seemed that way due to the way they reacted anjd moved. Plus the fact that i always connect to a player quickly and the total absence of lag on my terrible connection, which often indicates a bot. So many games use bots to compensate for lack of players i just assumed some would be really.

Very pleased if thats not the case and i was wrong.

Dunno about bots, but there are definitely some people who are gaming things in some way.

I sometimes play against people who are using Roddick. I have used Roddick in the past. Their Roddick moved and served at double the speed of mine.

All part of why I have pretty much given up on online play at this point. Too many cheats and idiots. Tonight I had one guy who was deliberately underhand serving for some reason. God, what a joke.

Bullpuckey. My skill level has nothing to do with how fast a player runs around the screen, and these guys move a lot faster than I can.

I've had some very strange matches online too. A few people who I swear are just sitting there watching the game and not actually playing. ie they wait and wait and wait to serve and then the computer does an automatic average speed serve which i demolish and this repeats until my serve (which is always straight aces) Perhaps they've passed out from stress or gone to the toilet or been mugged by a home invasion, or heaven forbid....died

I do this sometimes its actually I press A to start match and sometimes it takes a while or I get a phone call and I forget and when I come back I see I lost 3-0 Once I didnt even remember starting a match but maybe I hit the button accidentally while watching TV and came back to a 3-0 loss!
