1. No BS minigames

2. Able to schedule training plans and not just play games twice.
So you can slowly build up your character.
In legacy mode you either need to be a god in mini games or your at 82-85 rating vs'ing 92+ champions.
Be able to injure yourself training or burn yourself out if training too hard.
Be able to peak in certain fight in certain abilities.

3. Able to call people out, duck them, even press confrences if possible.

4. Have the comp fight and not just make them invincible blocking machines. (sometimes my hand slips and the computer perfect blocks a punch I never knew i threw).

5. No perfect block, makes jabbing useless and in fact there is no point to jabbing as the time they have if they perfect block in same as a hook or uppercut.

6. More customizable features in legacy.

7. This is the most important one for me. Have each style of boxing have a limit to their skill points. What's the point of picking a speed boxer if you can get power to almost 100 or a power puncher with 100 speed?

Also have those reflect in weight division during creation, as the lighter weights have made stats then are dropped when compared to others.

8. Improve body punches over time. I can go for 12 round landing haymakers with tyson to the body and only throwing that punch for 12 rounds and the person wont go down. Try it!

I think it would be a good idea to broadcast FNR5 OWC fights on XBOX LIVE Primetime. You could also have live commentary. The commentators could be linked to the fight, watch it and commentate. And, for really big fights, you could have a real-life PPV package, so they could watch exclusive fights and training! That would add a bit of realism. And a lot more CASH! $$$

PLEASE READ. WILL ANY OF YOU PETITION FOR MY IDEAS?

My career mode wishlist run along the lines of pre-fight preparations, to help make the game more strategic. I want to outline what I've written elsewhere:

- Opponent/A.I. specialties: For example, a defensive, high-output, low power boxer or a high power, high output, excellent chin, no defense. The possibilities are limitless and as you climb higher in the rankings, the specialties of the elite fighters become more varied and exceptional, while low ranked fighters may specialize in one element. This would really buttress the "styles make fights" concept brought about in FNR4, and it would genuinely make certain opponents nearly insurmountable unless a perfectly conceived and executed gameplan is put into place. Balancing this seems straightforward.
- Opponent-specific training regiment would make every training camp new and would provide gamers much more purpose than simply making your stats better, especially as you move higher in the rankings.
- Ability to purchase different conditioning coaches to help give you the added spark on fight night.
- Conditioning coaches' jobs should be specific, such as power or stamina or overall conditioning(ability to take punishment)
- Money should play a role in purchasing the various personnel on your team. The amount you pay should determine what the conditioning coach helps you improve upon. For example:

Power Conditioning Coach
A. $5,000 - Improve Jab
B. $5,000 - Improve Cross
C. $5,000 - Improve Uppercuts
D. $30,000 - Improve Left Hand Power
E. $30,000 - Improve Right Hand Power
F. $50,000 - Improve Overall Power

Stamina Conditioning Coach
A. $15,000 - Improve Combination Punching
B. $25,000 - Improve Footwork
C. $25,000 - Improve Bobbing & Weaving
D. $50,000 - Improve Stamina/Punch Output

And so on.... The concept of money could be an added element of strategy in managing to your career. It's tangible, thoughtful, and it's actually fun to consider what is most necessary to prepare for your opponents specialties.

-To add some polish to the career mode, the concept of "meal tickets" should be introduced. There could be various levels of stars in each division and certain "super star" opponents that would be randomly generated that may or may not be in your weight class. Perhaps you must weigh the risk of moving up in weight(or moving down) with the huge payday that will help you improve your fighter. You must also consider whether a win is even possible given the circumstances. You can utilize a "call out" option that will notify the A.I. to consider your challenge. The A.I. Opponent Manager will decide whether you're even a viable opponent at that point in time.

- There can also be home town stars, who will, for example, present a healthy payday provided you fight in their backyard. How awesome would that be?

I really think im on to something with these ideas. What do you all think? Would anybody support petitioning for these ideas? They seem realistically achievable from a development standpoint.

I didn't intend to write a definitive outline of my ideas. I just offered some concepts and I think the developers can really improve upon the basic concepts I provided, be it by streamlining or expanding on them. But I think the basic ideas are solid and genuinely achievable from a development standpoint. There are some pretty wild wishlists on here lolol... Fans are great.

I remember talking to he producers when I was up at EA Canada and they talked about how funny it was to pay outrageous amounts of money for trunks and gear.so they ae looking to add something similar to your ideas.

That's cool, so they are already going in that direction. However, I really do think the money thing is entirely subservient to making the rest of the legacy mode more strategy-based. I like the idea of having to use your best judgment on what to specifically prepare for before a fight, especially as you face the top fighters in your division. It would certainly give a ton of depth to the career mode, assuming they create a big variety of top fighters. If this games motto was "no two fights are alike" FNR5 should be "no two opponents are alike". However, I'm a bit skeptical that they achieved the tagline with FNR4... Most of my fights are pretty similar.

One thing that's really bothering me with Round 4 is Punch Reactions

1. You can get hit with a clean punch and keep exchanging, like you didn't get hit at all
2. A flush punch should snap the head back more (more reaction animations) causing your opponent to stop be stop dead in there tracks occasionally
3. A flush punch should also disrupt your opponents punches when in exchanges, causing you or your opponent to miss when hit clean

This is the main reason a 1,2 combo isn't that effective because a flush jab(or any punch for that matter) doesn't stop your opponent from punching you ,so it doesn't let you set up your combos.

More Realistic punch reactions would make this game less like rock em sock em robots and also eliminate some spamming issues. I'm not saying every punch landed should have this effect, just flush shots. I can't remember how much I got into detail with this on the official wishlist that was sent but hopefully Brizzo and Mike are still checking up on these threads

Do Not Buy FNR5 they haven't supported us with FNR4.

Have a backbone, if you just keep buying there products, then they will do the same thing.

I hope EA fails.

For me

Its all about having more boxers better syles a much better legacy mode and having money in the game and i mean dollars/pounds etc.

Weigh ins would be and nice touch but its got to be expanded.

Just look at UFC 2010 trailers.

Anyway no one has announced officially there will be another fight night game yet

I know there is another game being made. It just hasn't been officially announced yet. The producers said it in a couple post already.
