my head says go with machida via unanimous decision, but my heart says rampage will knock him out, possibly even in the first rd... i think machida's a great fighter, i jus dont think he's gonna be able to beat rampage... rampage will connect at least once, and that will be the end of the fight

Machida
Penn
Harris
Davis
Soti

I dont think Rampage is going to be aggresive which is pretty much what he needs to use against Machida. Sure he has raw power but I dont believe a single shot by Rampage is going to knock Machida out. There is no reason to question his chin IMO. As for Rampage, it will be long night with alot of unchecked legkicks if he doesnt come out overly aggresive imo.

Still, great card.

Rampage is easily owned with leg kicks Machida should be doing a lot of that. Matt Hughes is mad so I'm going to give him the slight edge in an even fight. The others I have not seen fight and reserve judgement.

Because of Machida's stance, he isn't gonna have the power in his leg kicks like Forrest Griffin has. I think if he is gonna use some kicks they'll probably be to the body to try and wear Rampage down. However, I don't think Rampage is gonna give him the distance to use his kicks. I think Rampage is gonna smother him and force him to brawl and eventually catch him with something.

Oh *.

It appears Rampage is using the PRIDE theme as his entrance song.

Stomps n Soccer Kicks Crew

do not use stats to defend your argument about individual players football is a team sport where every players stats are dependent on his teamates.

Any reason for Boetsch over Davis?

Boetsch is a decent fighter but IMO a guy like Davis is wayyy out of his league.

Wow that Phil Davis is a pretty darn good prospect. If he gets the right teaching to improve his stand up he could be pretty darn dangerous. Gotta see his beard tested of course to know if he has championship potential.

He's definitely the future of the division.

I actually hve no clue why I picked him now that I think of it, as soon as the fight started I second guessed myself. Oh well, still been a good card tonight though

Hehe that Falco is a pretty tough customer. They both didn't look like they wanted anymore after the first two rounds, but Harris showed heart getting out of those chokes. I thought the crowd was a bit tough on'em lol.

So far it has been a decent card, with the exception of the 3rd round of the Harris and Falco fight.

Phil davis was really impressive, dam, that dude can wrestle and some nice kicks. I can't wait for him to move up the ladder to better competition. The LHW division has some really exciting up and comers.

Falco was so impressive the first 2 rounds, with amazing hand speed. However, the last round was boring as f***. I kept waiting for him to pick up Harris' rythm and jump in... was still waiting until the last 10 seconds. Also, Harris has some heart getting out of those chokes.

Edit: Ummm I blinked and then the Hughes/Penn fight was over. What a Finish! Anyone know if BJ is going to stay at ww or move back down to lw?
