So I purchased the game online and installed EADM as well as the Adobe AIR update. Now the Download Manager just sits there. I'm logged into the account with which I purchased the game, and it shows Spec Forces, but the only available option is 'Play' which does nothing except make the screen go blank for two seconds.
There is no 'Download' or 'Install' button available. If I try the Activation tab it tells me that the Activation Code (copied and pasted from the EAStore invoice) is invalid. So I'm just stuck here staring at an inactive Download Manager and feeling like I flushed 10 dollars down the drain. Any help?

I've figured out how to get Spec Forces downloading. Simply move your vanilla BF2 folder into the Recycle Bin temporarily and try to start the download again. I can't believe the fix was this simple after hours of reading through forum posts and installing/uninstalling/reinstalling EADM. And to think I was considering reinstalling BF2 itself!!!!

Update: Now that it has finished downloading, an 'Activate' button has popped up. If I press it, I am directed to EA's website where I am required to enter my login info and activation code. Of course if I enter my activation code it says that it is already in use, and I can't do anything else.
Can't this EADM do a single thing right?

Hey there.
If the normal activation is not working, you'll need to contact support and request a manual activation for your booster packs. Make sure that you specify that it's a non-technical issue so you can get the issue resolved as quickly as possible.

I've already 'emailed' the issue at the EA Support website. I've also updated it so they know exactly what the issue is. I have so far received no response.
Honestly I'm considering calling my credit card company and contesting the charges.
