Just like in FNR3 , you enter a lobby with people and you can chat , call them out , all that stuff. Also how when you reach a certain level you are forced to go to a higher lobby this way there are no bum hunters for noobs.

The automatic matchmaking sucks , the lobbies gave more of a feel to the online game IMO.

Who's with me?

Lobbies are always better. PSN Home integration could achieve this.

Speaking of which, have you guys used the chat function on PS3? It operates like an independent IRC client while you play games. You could theoretically save different chat rooms to retain constant contact with various online communities. I'm surprised more people don't use it.

I like the idea better than what Undisputed had. I suppose this way, if they implemented a levelling system like in Undisputed, it would actually be possible to level up because the higher fighters wouldn't duck you, and you wouldn't have to risk all your points against lower levelled guys for no return. I'd like this in.

Besides, who doesn't enjoy a barrage of friendly death threats from complete strangers?

Ya I hate how they took the lobbies out in FNR4 , it was just '' click ranked match and your good to go'' and sometimes it would not connect so you keep on looking... Lobbies are the way to go.

You know what would be cool?

Is if the lobby room showed the ranks of each player so of the 20 or so people you could see who the top 5 ranked players are. Then you could have fun for an hour or so fighting back and forth to change the lobby P4P and Weight class rankings.

Yeah i agree, lobbies are much easier in terms of playing with friends. The mw2 lobbies nail this, don't particulary like the game(prefer battlefield) but lobbies are spot on.

I'm all for lobbies! Like someone said earlier, there were so many bum hunters in fnr4 and that way with lobbies, it could very well work against them.

thats the best thing about lobbies!!! i HATED how undisputed would match u against some bum with a garbage connection, the fight would end up an all out lag-fest and disconnect at the beginning of the 2nd rd... that happened alot to me, or it would just disconnect b4 the match started and id have to go back and wait another 5 mins to find another fight... i have great connection speed and it would ALWAYS match me up with ppl that had slow ones

lobbies are alright. they're alot better then what undisputed has ranking high levels against low levels or contantly waiting for a match really sucked in undisputed i actually liked the fnr4 online system better then undisputed just cause of the fact that i didnt need to wait atleast 10- 15 minuets to find an opponent or didnt have to keep on waiting to find a fight because of ppl ducking and dodging me because of my record and my fight status with

excelent take downs
excelent ground work
improved stand up

makes alot of ppl duck and dodge fighting me which gets real boring quick so if you ask me the fnr4 system wasnt that bad at all because i was able to find a fight without the hassle. the fnr3 system was ok too i wouldnt mind seeing either set up from FNR3 Or 4 but i absolutely do not want to see the set up from undisputed in this game because that was horrible and too much of a waste of time just to have one fight.

i rather just get in there fight people and continue going then have to keep exiting to create another match because a match couldnt be found or keep waiting for an opponent to come into the match i have created

There should always be the option. Lobby sounds cool. But what if I haven't played in a while and need some practice with my high ranker?
