I would like to see the create your own playbook feature in madden 11. I know it might be a little much to ask to create our own plays, but it shouldnt be too hard to add a feature where you can choose different formations from different playbooks to make your own unique book.

Would anyone else like to see this feature added?

That would be a great idea it would be fun

I'd like to see it too.

1st going through Everybody's playbooks and picking specific plays for me.

2nd- Having something along the line, sort of like "Ask Madden" but basically its a list of questions over different types of scenerio's along with the Pro's and Con's of that play, so we can put in the best play to fit our style and Re-Name the play so we understand it from the get go.

3rd (I know it's not possible) is Have the Referee's Union sit down with EA and Explain the What's allowed (or Not Allowed) so we can create trick plays. I'd like to find a way too literally have my whole team sweep Right starting with my LT and LG pulling right and my FB following MY QB as my QB runs For yardage while everybody else pretty much blocks or him. This is just an example of being able to create trick plays-Even if it's using College Football style of play or Past-time NFL play's

yea this would be awesome but it sounds more like a fantasy

for the 3rd part instead ea could just pull out the rule book and study

I'd rather just have the facts...NOW, then trying to waste of bunch of time studying

Less time Studying=More Time Developing

I think it wouldnt be too hard to do, but i am not sure that they would do it cuz cheaters could find a way to exploit it.

This was actually an option that you can do back in like 2001-2003 (can't remember which Madden it was exactly), I used it all the time and beat the crap outta people, you couldn't use it online though.

Also it gave you an option to customize your playbook. For instance, you get to choose a certain amount of formations for your playbook (there wasn't many but you only need 4-5 anyway) and you can pick any play from any teams playbook just as long it was the same formation...It was amazing!!! To be honest with you I rather have that option, then to create plays. Imagine a playbook with all go-to plays!!! Those were the days, EA sports please bring this option back!!! Does anyone else remember this or ever use it? It was unreal!!!

As much as I want this... I'm worried about the potential for people to make cheese playbooks. Stuff beyond what you can already do with pre-snap adjustments.. that take advantage of flaws in the game.

They deimplemented this so they could make you pay another 60$ for Madden 11 Coach edition. One most pisses me off is that theres no way to easily review the play books and all the * strategy guides do nothing to illustrate the plays.

This was in previous Maddens. I believe ps2 era....You were also able to design A play from the ground up and add it to your playbook. I had so much fun doing that.

Madden for PS2 still has it although they took away it's use in Franchise. I remember the NCAA version of making your own plays being a bit better (can you make plays in PS3 NCAA?).

I like to watch my teams just play to see how good my plays are on offense and defense.

If they would simply allow us to make our own playbook from others it would be a plus. There are a number of plays in every playbook that NEVER work so taking them out really helps.

EA's reason (excuse) from dropping the playbooks from PS2 Franchise was to make it "more real" using "the real" play books.

The truth is that the playbooks in the game have little if anything to do with the team or any coach listed. And 10 years ago when all these coaches are gone, it get's real silly. Hey, does Mike Martz HAVE a defense???

I'm in agreement with wynnergnu I would like to see the create your own playbook feature in madden 11. It shouldn't be that hard to add a feature where you can choose different formations from different playbooks to make your own unique book. I should be a simple patch that i wish it would be done for this game.

Yeah, I agree, Put a make your own Play feature, tired of having to find favorite playbook, I just want to make my own
