Hi everybody. I have Battlefield 2142 Deluxe Edition. And i active Northern Strike. And update 1.40 then update 1.50. But i can't unlock some tools. When i tried to unlock i have a massage "You must have EA Link installed in order to do this" I tried to uninstall game manualy and re-install again. But i can't active northern strike this time. I have a massage when i tried to active NS. "system error please try again later"

a couple of things to try. When reinstalling NS, don't try to re-activate it. It should already be activated on EA's end from the first time you did it. Just try joining a NS server to see if it's installed right.

for the unlocks, are you sure you have enough unlock credits? and are you sure you have everything below the new item already unlocked?

If it's an EA Link problem, EA Link was replaced by EA Download Manager. Go to support.ea.com and search for EA Download Manager to get a link to install that.

yes i have other unlock but i can't unlock NS items

I'll bet you have the same bug I have. I used to be able to unlock them but after my last repatching it thinks I don't own NS (although I can play NS).

Fortunately I managed to unlock 49/50 unlocks... All I can advise is you try patching it up again but that's not a very good suggestion considering how much a PITA that is.

Go to support.ea.com/chat
I complained to them on how the Battlefield 2142 Deluxe Edition didn't give me the Northern Strike Pack.
They asked me for the key code and required me to download EA Download Manager and log in it.
Once I did both, EA manually installed Northern Strike into the Download Manager; ergo activating the Norther Strike pack!
You need the exact key code for your BF: 2142 Deluxe Edition though, and the same EA account used in both BF: 2142 and the EA Download Manager.

since the 1.51 patch was released it is no longer possible to register Northern Strike. You have to install the 1.51 patch which includes the Northern Strike maps for free.
