I keep crashing back to desktop after the latest update. I haven't played for about 2 weeks and I updated my nvidia drivers to 196.21 during that time so I'm not sure if it's the drivers or BC2. I'm on XP SP3, is this the right place or should I contact someone else?

I'm in the same boat????? I wish I could play bbc2 without crashing all the time??????

Big ditto here too. I can get into a game from my server history, but not play now. Then after 2-3 minutes it crashes back to the main menu, and from there about 90% of the time gets hung up on "updating your stats" and has to be closed from task man. No complaints, gg and I understand betas.

i keep getting blue screens or it plays for a while with no problems. strange problem. video card drivers are the latest.

Having same problem games boots up and runs fine then sometimes the games just freezes but can still hear gun fire or it just crashed to Desktop I running a 64bit pc setup with 4gig of ram and latest graphics drivers for a nvidia 8800gts overclocked card can run other game's no problem HELP!!!!!

When am I going to learn that EA published *? Was playing along mostly just fine with only a crash every now and then. Updated without choice tonight and BANG, their update has turned the whole thing into a smelly pile of *. Now, it's just a crash generator.

Finally got the single player stable and able to play at high graphics level when I get the upgrade. Now it crashes back to the desktop and is unplayable. I could understand a beta but this is unacceptable in a commercial product guys.

Yeah. To force out a so-called patch that breaks a working system is idiotic. Can they really be that stupid?

Running the Steam version here, just updated today, when I attempt to continue my single player campaign, it sits at the loading screen for about 3 minutes before it crashes with no errors back to my desktop. Yay..

the server crashed every time caused by PunkBuster, without PunkBuster = cheater.
the server crashed every time caused by the banlist.
the server crashed every time caused by using reserved slots.
guys, you can not buy a complete game that crash or freeze every time.
DICE and EA must immediately improve

ok before the update everything was fine for me i could play online at max setting without any issues, after the update BAM!!!! crash, crash, crash im getting sick i want to play the game what kind of update causes the game to malfunction, i know the guys at EA are alot of stress at the moment due to the massive influx of players that want to play this EPIC game, please fix this problem im getting tired, thanks.

Ditto here. Was working fine yesterday, now it keeps crashing to desktop from single player.

My game just crashes at Random to desktop often since latest update as well, Never did before.

Dual core 3.2 g
XP
750W PSU
