This is what i want the game to include:
1) Day and Night cycles, during the day you can do pro street like competitions, or street race and at night you can street race.
2) Keep the Cops. Cops always make nfs games better, i think if underground 2 would be best by far
3) Keep free roam, but like in Carbon allow people to have the ability to jump to races or shops.
4) Keep the whole muscle, tuner, and exotic categories, but don't make it so a tuner automatically has better handling than exotics
5) My most important request is to bring back the neon, the headlights, taillights, and mirrors. I don't necessarily need the interior audio and spinners or hydraulics but those can be fun.
6) Keep the tuning similar to prostreet, but just because a car is tuned to drift should mean that it "can't" be raced in a circuit.
7) Also i'd like to see at least three different cities. Don't ad 700 like on burnout. But have three general cities that are like tropic, like miami, one like vegas, and one around a bigger city. Change the scenery because that's how carbon and underground two got boring.
I'd like to see some snow, but id don't know how many racers actually race in the snow, so its not really necessary.
9) I like the autosculpt, but continue to allow the choice for aftermarket parts.
10) I like he damage, but please no totaled cars, if you wan't just make it so they always roll over some how.
11) I've thought about the gas idea and getting out of the car ideas, but i think those would take away from the racing experience so i think they are unnecessary.
12) Keep the crew idea i really liked that in Carbon.
13) I like the outrun races in underground 2 and Carbon as well.
14) Most importantly keep the game a little more on the arcade style then realistic. Don't go burnout style because that's way too unrealistic. Just a little more arcade than prostreet.
15) I keep adding as i read, Umm do away with the tier system but still have some cars only become so good compared to others.
16) Have many race styles, Grip, Drift, Speed, Drag, Circuit, Sprint, Speedtrap, Time Trial, Outrun, maybe Canyon?, and Street X.
17) Keep the ability to play as the cops like in HP2, and Carbon online
My Story or something the EA staff could expand upon:
The Main character is a street racer
Start out strictly street racing drag races, sprints, whatever
You race in the day and at night as you gain popularity and skill more races become available
This whole time your racing against bosses and other bigger named street racers
They all race in race days like in pro street
So as you get better you get invited to day competions, but you race on the streets at night or day.

Well we're going to get another installment of NFS, should be a good thing, but it just all looks the same to me. No damage - sux bad! The damage system in Pro-Street was supposed to be so new and different, ripping off wheels if you clipped a concrete barrier ect, never ripped one wheel of during the entire game! Isn't it really about time someone come up with something new????
Waiting for a new game to come out and finally getting it used to be great, now you put the disc into your PC, Xbox, PS3 or whatever and within 5 mins of playing the game, you may as well be looking at and playing the previous version of the game. BORING!
I remember reading somewhere once that the "Holy Grail" of video gaming is the ability to make us laugh, love and cry during the course of playing a game. Has this vision just disappeared? Give us some reality in these games, even if it's a feature that you can turn on and off at least then we could play the game in a realistic situation.
My ultimate game - combine the sims, need for speed and test drive unlimited! As a few extra features and you've got a game.

Ok, here's my two cents
The one thing I love about NFS more than any other racing game is the designing of the visuals.
One thing that I don't like is how you have to unlock visuals, why not make them ridiculously expensive and make the driver responsible for his cash?
Also, please try and get some real-world body kits, like Henessy's Viper, or TechART's 911 turbo kit, or anything from Hamann or Brabus, etc. Some more stuff that makes it more realistic would be nice.
Otherwise, ditto on what everyone else has been saying. Even if you only get some little stuff at a time per-game, that would be fine.
(And I really enjoyed the change-of-pace that Pro-Street brought with its professional races on real courses)

IN the next nfs game it'll be cool to actually have 2 big cities connected. or at least a smaller city with a circuit on which we can go racing legally.

It would be cool if you could be pro racer at day(ProStreet) and street racer at night. In addition to that you could steal cars and parts to use them your self or as a job for someone else(like in undercover). On the track there's car classes and restrictions/demands, but on the street you race whatever you have. Plus, of course, cops.

Instant replays, instant replays and more instant replays there is no excuse not to have this key feature in the title when all other racers have it even ones that are lesser than nfs.

I could think of two improvements I'd like for the series...
Ability to save after each race, no if, ands, or buts
One thing I want to see is the ability to save after each race. Yes, you can save after each race, but what if you trigger the police mid-race, you have to evade them in order to save your game. Yes the point is to outrun them, but why disable the ability to save. Maybe some players don't want to outrun the cops after each race and just save so they can continue playing later.
Quick Race free roam
One thing I loved about NFS Underground 2 was how free roam was a Quick Race option. If I wanted to play free roam in Carbon or Most Wanted, I had to go to my saved file. Which also adds in police chases. Why not add a Quick Race free roam, with customizable options. Players could set the traffic, what kind of races to run into, an option to turn off police chases just to name a few.
Online in Wii versions of the game
I was looking at the Nintendo Channel on my Wii and found an entry for Undercover. I notice it didn't have a Nintendo Wi-Fi logo. Why not add online support for Wii? EA added online multiplayer to Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for Wii (I don't own it, but I've read about it), why not NFS for Wii. Online racing is very fun and Wii has online out of the box (given if you have a wireless router).
Game difficulty option
Add an option to adjust the difficulty for Career mode. Quick Race has it, why not the main mode. I'm someone who likes to adjust difficulty level to my liking, I'm sure there are other players who like to play at their difficulty level too. Maybe something along the lines of Easy, Medium, and Hard.
This is all the feedback I could think of. I hope EA takes this into consideration seeing how this forum is for feedback.

All I want to change is that the cars turn sharper so you can drift with it.
It wouldn't be all that hard, especially on wii, to make the steering a little more sensative so it'll turn sharper, so you can countersteer a nice drift with a decent angle.

there are only FOUR things, and the game would be MUCH better
1 - keep the free-roam, missions, police chases and map size of undercover, along with a nice tricky driving so you can do stunts (i hated carbon for that you couldn't make any stunts)
2 - make autosculpt wide body kits have more that ONE option to tune them. seriously, from what i seen, give us premade body kits and it's almost the same
3 - allow user created content. games like most wanted are not only played because the concept is great, but because the player could import their own cars or settings in the game. and make it easier of course
4 - every "villain" we see is damn arrogant and has completely NO style.
couldn't you give us a bad guy that knows how to make jokes, is humble about his skills (but make him almost unbeatable so that people will be like "how the hell am i supposed to race that?")
BTW one last thing : make sure AFTER the career we get to make money easily since there's no "my cars" option anymore.
or at least give a "test drive" option so that you actually know what you're about to buy

I think in addition to the Most Wanted, Carbon and Undercover cop system for online and offline play I would love to see the return of playable cops not just online but also offline and as a single player mode similar to the Playstation version Need for Speed High Stakes and the Playstation 2 version of Hot Pursuit 2. The Playstation of High Stakes as the players as cop appearing at random places on the tracks, also has the ability to call for backup and the Playstation 2 version of Hot Pursuit 2 had a wonderful You're the Cop mode which also included calling for a helicopter or 2, and even getting your own tires slashed with the spike belt and losing points for that I wish you guys at Eletronic Arts could combine the elements from the cop modes of High Stakes and Hot Pursuit 2 into the next game and also bring back in car views as well to give players the real feel look as if they were inside of the car.

NFS?s Traffic and AI Algorithm
Has anyone besides myself noticed that traffic post NFS7 will always do everything it can to get in your(The Player?s) way, slow you down and screw you over in general??? It will do everything it can to cost you the race. While at the same time it will do everything it can, Including the Impossible to get out of the way of the Racing AI opponents. I Revisited NFS7:UG1 tonight. I noticed in some the drag racing events that cross traffic(usually a van) will stop for no apparent reason right in front of the player car. It did not matter which traffic lane I was in. If I tried to switch lanes to avoid it(Front) it would start to move, clip my tail end spin me out and total my car. If I tried to switch lanes to go behind it, either another car would pull up right behind it blocking the path totaling my car or 1 of the other racers would clip my tail making it impossible to get around it with the same totaled car results. In 1 race 1 of the AI racers pushed me into another lane like my car was a feather when in reality I had the ?Heavier? car. In a Circuit Race I came across the Wall of White Cargo Vans which blocked the ?Entire? road. I was in 2nd place. I figured that I would just draft the lead car so I wouldn?t have to slow down as much and take the lead after we got through the roadblock. To my dis-belief, the lead car no-clipped (Ghosted) through that roadblock and I crashed into them. Btw this was in a career race.
I have noticed this type of traffic AI in UG1&2, Most Wanted, and in Carbon. I expect to see this in Under Cover as well. In Most Wanted I have noticed that if the player hits a car it will do everything it can to keep itself planted to your(the player?s) front bumper in order to further slow you down when it should be trying to move out of the way. Which is what it does when an AI racing car plows into it. In Carbon the Traffic AI will deliberately turn into your path in order to slow you down and screw over you chances of winning a race. It happens something like this. You(The Player) are in a race. You are on the proper side of the road. You see oncoming traffic on the other side of the road. Oncoming traffic vehicle makes a perfectly timed 90 degree turn right into your path giving you no time at all to go around it. Your car plows into traffic vehicle while your AI racing opponents scream by you without having to slow down at all.
Do not even get me started with the cops. They Ignore all the other racers but (you guessed it) The player. It is also Impossible to just out run them no matter what car the player is using at the time. In what reality other than EA land can a Police Cruiser not only keep up with a sports car doing 180+Mph but also stick to it?s rear bumper like crazy glue???? This is common in both Most Wanted and in Carbon.
This combined with the evil rubber banding catch up AI makes most ?Modern? NFS titles frustrating to say the very least.
This is what I would very much like to happen.
I would very much like the traffic Algorithm re-written to react realistically. This means if a traffic car see?s you coming it will get out of the way, and not deliberately turn into your path to make you crash into it slowing you down costing you the race. The ONLY cars that should even consider such behavior are Police Vehicles.
I would also like to see the Racing opponent AI re-written to give some parity to the player. If a Player car cannot do something then the AI driven car shouldn?t be able or allowed to do it either. This means no more AI?s Ignoring the limitations of a vehicle that can be driven by the player.
Even though I want this very badly, I do not expect Either one of these things to ever actually happen at least not in my lifetime at any rate.

Just one thing: Spend more time on the Wii's graphics AND TEXTURES, whoever's handling the Wii version of Undercover and upcoming games! Don't rip us off! Some of us are somewhat hardcore! No offense, but in the Wii Pursuit video that's been spread around, the graphics were OK but the textures...
Oh... and please make those upgrades you have for PS3/Xbox 360/PC available on the Wii Shop or something!

Thanks for the invite, EA, looking forward to playing your sure-to-be-awesome product!

Also if you guys are going to make a single player offline cop mode please be sure to not just include it in the handhelds but also for the consoles and PC versions too. Since some people are dissapointed that Undercover's Criminal Scramble mode is only for the Nintendo DS only and not for the other systems.

Old time NFS fans wants a Need For Speed like NFS1-6 again , The scenery and exotic cars is what makes NFS what it is. Why can´t they combine Oldtime NFS and underground....
Senery like in the old time NFS !!!

I can't agree with SuperSupra more... EA has taken a great franchise and flushed it. I don't want to race a Nissan with a coffe can exhaust and NoX.
I miss the McLaren F1's and Ferrari's. I have to say that I'd much rather dig out my PS one and copy of NFS: III then pop Undercover in my 360. Sure the graphics are dated but man..... now, THAT is a good arcade racer.
