***ADMIN PLEASE STICKY AND UPDATE IF CHANGES ARE MADE***
If you are having problems connecting and you haven't forwarded your routers' ports I've listed the official ports to forward here. I cannot tell you how to forward each router models ports however if you have your manual or go onto the manufacturer website for your router I'm sure you'll find out how. To login to your routers settings often the ip is listed on the back of the router itself...hope this saves you time and helps with some connection issues you might be having.
For those having trouble finding this information, I would ask that the admins sticky this thread, or keep bumping to keep it updated please.
The ports for Battlefield Bad Company 2 are currently as follows according to EA and DICE:
Port: 80 TCP
Port: 18121 TCP
Port: 18126 TCP
Port: 18126 UDP
Port: 13505 TCP
Please sticky this thread EA so that those that need this information can get it. It will help solve a lot of connection problems people are having.
I hope this helps a few players out there.

yeah ive done all that and it still kicks me about 3 minutes into a multiplayer game. you guys need to resolve this issue, its pretty pathetic. ive never had any issues with MW2 or any COD game. its time you learn from the pros and do whatever they're doing right. i want my money back! (ps3)

You guys need to have a static ip if you're port forwarding.

thing is , i have a static ip, i went through the port forwarding stuff, but still no ping showing in the server browser, however i CAN login...whenever i click on a server, it says connecting, and then nothing happens, i have to go through maybe 20 servers like this, before it FINALLY connects to one, and then when im in the server it shows an inaccurate Ping ( like 463, or 235 ) , but the ping doesnt FEEL like the numbers its telling me.....this another EA problem....? with BF2 everything just worked like a charm......

TCP: 80, 18390, 18395 and 13505
UDP: 18395
This is the ports on BF BC2...... on the PC
Everyone use this it's better.....
http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm
Pick your router from there, then it takes you to the game selection/utility section. (Skip the advertisement though where it says it can automatically do it for you) If you are a PC user pick BattleField Bad Company 2 from the list, if you are 360 or pS3 make sure to go to the correct sections. (For example Xbox 360 BattleField Bad Company 2)
This website shows you exactly what and where to enter on your router.

Why are those ports better? which does bc2 use?
Which ever ports i'm using on my router are right..i'm using a test router at the moment i'll plug in my other router and check
edit: damn it.... somehow it seems to have forgotten all my port forwards, though all my WAN set up stayed.

I meant the website was better, but on that website it says that is the ports for BC2. That website is used by every Gamer I know etc. It always works, it even worked for borderlands which was unplayable without port forwarding.
