Fix for Reversed Joystick Controls

* Find your BF:BC2 settings directory [On Vista this is C:\Users\[YourUserName]\Documents\BFBC2\]
* Enter the 'input' subdirectory
* Open 'air.dbx' in Notepad or the like

If you have reversed throttle

* Look for the line that says:
* Below this there will be a line that says:
* Look for the first line below this that should read:
* Change this to read:

If you have reversed yaw

* Look for the line that says:
* Below this there will be a line that says:
* Look for the first line below this that should read:
* Change this to read:

Thanks, will give the reserve yaw fix a try.

How did you manage to even get the throttle to bind?

I fixed the reversed yaw, but I can not get the throttle to work at all. Any way to fix this?

I bought a PC game (line that out) a ported XBOX game.
I COULD do what you listed but I still want my throttle like as if a beta console port was pushed to PC but never tested with a PC? Yeah this choppa flies great with a mouse and keybaord (PUKE).
I will hold and have faith. I have only been buying EAs BF series since 1942...

I stopped watching TV for a reason...it was stolen..hence I never bought another one or another console...still have dust on my PS1.

I don't miss that horrid medium. Maybe and PORTED from CONSOLE to PC game should:

A. be marked as a Console Ported PC game
B. Sell for 29.99 SINCE YOU ONLY GET CONSOLE FUNCTIONALITY OUT OF IT!

Adding the minus sign did the trick with the yaw for me. Damn, they really made these things too easy to fly ...

Why dont you just fix it? In the time you spent qqing you could have looked at the fix on the other thread as well. My Saitek X52 is working fine now.

Yaw is fixed for me now, but what about the throttle?

So many players are complaining about the missing throttle feature. I'm also not able to even bind the throttle to the joystick. It only accepts keys in the menu.

Please fix this.

help please? i could not find the bfbc2 folder with the dbx file in it. all i found was 2 .ini files and 1 .bin file. what do i do?

i know i may be out of topic, but i just wanna ask if you know how to fix problems with mouse? ive done clearing the joystick binds in the .dbx files but it didnt kinda worked for me :/

Heh, I guess you're assuming the developers are reading this post. Yeah, lots of people have the throttle problem. Me, I just bound the left thumb button to W and right to S and called it a day. Hold that thumb on the left thumb button...

They just need to fix this already.

I have a Microsoft Force Feedback 2 Joystick. I wish i could map the hat switch directions for "look around"
