When we all played Skate OG the first time, we were all noobs. I mean God...who DIDN'T get beat by Shingo in a game of SKATE? Now that I have experience myself through two more games, I went back to OG to find it so much easier, enjoyable, and so much more fun. And that's it. I now find that Skate 1 is sooo much more enjoyable than Skate 3. I figure Skate 2 would have been the same way...but the nostalgia of the first one is so tremendous...it's fantastic! So wip out your old game and go cruising around the original San Van.

I still play OG every once in a while, i do prefer it over Skate 3 in a few ways, but it is nice to have both

I like the feel of the city and the smoothness of the gameplay in OG. Its fun to just cruise around, its much easier than Skate 3 which is kind of good/bad. Like I love going back and fourth skating the Regs miniramp in OG and Skate 3 (hardcore mode). It goes from real smooth and easy, just having to control your speed, to a real gritty, challenging, authentic miniramp physics.

OG Skate will always have a place in my heart, but Skate 3 gives us so much more control, challenges and creative opportunity that it will always be my main Skate game. I'll still make OG vids though

Jeeze. And yeah, you can pick up skate at stores used for like 5 bucks.

Just now got skate 2. Time to shred the (multiple environments all fused together instead of teleporting everywhere)!

OG is fun to just mess around with... the skating feels so much nicer...
visual FX are pretty cool in OG too...
but filming is tough with out a cap card...

S2 is good because it's mostly OG locations, with the new trick controls... and you still have the ability to upload footy and make NSV montages...
but S2 filming, and walking controls are primitive to say the least... so it takes away from some of the fun times...

S3 has its own issues... floaty gravity, and dated visuals are my biggest gripes with the third game...

but filming and the volume of tricks possible in S3 make up for alot of shortcommings

CAP is good... but i only go to CAP for fun... as i dont like the quality of video in CAPs

each game has its own "english" if you will... requiring a different touch on the sticks in each game to get the desired pops and hight...

OG sounds sooo good. Ive heard its the chillest game in the series.

Im looking forward to getting it this Christmas. Bet I wont find it in stores though. I might have to download it to my Xbox. Ive never done that before.

S1 is super addictive. Enjoy

I would have to say it has the coolest story mode too.

I agree. OG is my favorite in the series. Ive gotten all the achievments and done everything there is to do and i still never get bored of it. There are so many spots to find and you can just cruise around san van. If OG had a filmer pack Id never go back to S3
