I started playing TW golf with the 2004 edition since EA will not be putting out a 2009 for the pc they have gotten their last dime out of me. I hope others feel the same way and stop buying EA products.

Well I want to get my two cents in. The "ONLY" reason i actually bought madden 09 was because my favorite player was on the cover. I played only "two" games and put it away and stored it and never will pick it up again!

EA you really did it this time. Do you actually think that the PC is obsolete or something? or is it just pure laziness? I pick laziness because that is all your company is is lazy making the same product pretty much year after year after year. No improvements in graphics on consoles especially. Yes you will have to "suckers" that will spend $60 on all your products because I for one won't. This is the game that I look forward to almost every year. And well I'm not going to buy it. You have lost all my respect once and for all. Wait and see when your company eventually goes bankrupt to all the bigger and better companies that actually support their products and put out a decent product from the get go. I'm sick of all the laziness and run arounds I get from your company. I really really hope everyone else feels the same. To put it plain and simple your company is just plain "garbage!".

no PC Version? Well this is not the first company to do that? There are other companies doing the same thing....'may the forc....' well anyways it sadens me deeply. Cause I certainly will not buy one of those over prized consoles just to play a game that I can't get on PC. PC still is the better plattform for gameing. Cause you can stay with time and don't allways have to buy a totaly new machine just to ride on the next generation Gameing technologie.

For companies the PC just is tomuch work, compatability of drivers graphic cards etc. So that lowers theire marging of profit. the Fanbase doesn't realy count anymore. Money money money that is all.

So for me Companies that don't plan of releasing PC Version are not worth the while anylonger.

Oh well, that's another good customer lost!

I think it's utterly ridiculous!

This game started out on the PC so why stop it all of a sudden but continue it on most other consoles!?

Even though I enjoy the Tiger Woods PGA Tour games, I cannot play golf to save my life, which is why I always got it on PC...there is no way I can play it on my wii.

I really am disappointed with EA, what a thing to do...

what a joke and they say ea sports is greatest gm maker but wont cater to the largest buyers of tw games pc gamers is in the millions x boxer s in the thousands ? they also bought right to great games such as nascar racing 2003 and did nothing with it seems to me EA BITES when it comes to real gamers need PC GAMES TO PLAY MAYBE WE SHOULD BOYCOTT ALL EA games in all forums in all games till EA figares out how to make games for ALL

This started to go downhill when Microsoft bought Links! I wonder how many other games EA makes that aren't available for PC. Bottom line...this doesn't exactly encourage me to buy any more EA PC games, when upgrades probably won't be available the following year.

Through June (200, Nintendo had sold 29.62 million Wiis worldwide. That compared to worldwide sales of 19 million for the Xbox 360 and 14.4 million for the PlayStation 3.

I am very unhappy about EA's decision to abandon TW for the PC.
Given the money I've got invested in my PC and in games for it, there's no way I'm going to buy a console. So I guess this is goodbye.

They aren't discontinuing it. They will be coming back next year with the PC version again.

^^Beginning to think so....

While this is presumably a wise business decision in EA's eyes, it definitely feels like a stab in the back to me. And while I am loyal to good companies, I'll return the favor when necessary. Being that TW is the only PC golf game out there (effectively if not literally), you're basically shutting me off. With that, I feel compelled to shut you off from any more of my hard-earned money, for any of your games.

Just so you understand the real finances of this, I own: Battlefield 2; Battlefield 2142 (nope, not going to buy Northern Strike); Crysis (nope, not going to buy Warhead); various Need for Speeds (new ones coming out?- not interested); Half-Life 2 (was considering buying Orange Box, but you've made that decision easy- no thanks); Sims 2 and several add-on packs (nope, not going to buy any more of them).

I doubt I'm alone in my sentiments toward your cancellation of the TW PC line. Over time it may cost you more than it looks on paper.
