I didn't really read into detail of what the other guys/girls had to say, but here are some likes, dislikes and possible add ons that I had towards the Madden 10 Online Franchise Website

Like's
- Very easy to shuffle players around in the depth chart.
- The video feature works very well so far.
- The site is user friendly.
- The schedule feature was very well done, easy to navigate.

Dislike's
- When using the depth chart, player ratings remain the same as their overall rating instead of what they would be if they were put at a new position. (ex. Donnie Avery is a 95 overall at Kick/Punt returner, but on the depth chart it lists him as a 75 which is his overall rating.)
- There isn't TD category on the team stats page.
- When you view the scoring summary for a played game, the scores on the right hand side are always wrong.

Possible Add-ons
- Since not everyone can be on XBOX LIVE at the same time, there should be a way to prerank/draft players in the NFL Draft. If a franchise uses the fantasy draft, there should be a way to either prerank/draft your players from the website.
- A way to view user coaching team tendencies. (Run%, Pass%, Blitz% etc.)
- There should be some sort of a scouting section for the NFL Draft.
- There should be a way to put contact info in the Owners section. (AIM, email, MSN etc.)
- There should be a way to put gamer availability info in the Owners section. (A place to put when people can play one another to set a user game easier.)

With all that said, I think that this website still has unlimited potential and anything is possible. I look foward to seeing what the fully developed site will entail. Great job and my thanks to all the guys who are working on the Beta site for Madden 10 and I wish you the best of luck in finishing this project. It really has the potential to be something HUGE!!!

I didn't read through all the comments, so please forgive me for any repeats...

A few things:

I'd like to see the league leaders from the web. I know the info is there since you can see an individual's season stats by clicking through on the roster page.

It also seems like the scoring summary is messed up. The scores that it shows to the right of the scoring play don't match up to the score at the time (or right after) that play.

It's about eight levels below basic

It's a joke of a website that hasn't been changed once since it came out.

It gives virtually no information and most of it is jumbled/a mess anyway

theres quite a bit missing but it still fun to use however im frustrated when it down every few days.

because this thread is about the online franchise website tie in, not gameplay

Things I like about Madden Online Franchise Mode:

-Being able to play with friends online.
-Fantasy draft so we can all make our own teams.

Things I don't like about Madden Online Franchise Mode:

-All Madden mode is not really All Madden its more like Pro.
-No Salary Cap
-No Scouting of College Prospects
-Doesn't give you all the stat categories in league leaders ie Passer Rating
-I would like to be able to drop in a game and watch the game say if 2 of my friends are playing online for the super bowl i want to be able to watch them play.
-Not being able to trade my draft picks.
-thats all i can think of right now im sure i will think of more.

Things that need to be improved

No Salary Cap
No in-season progressions
Can't edit players jerseys
Can't improve stadium etc
Cant move your team
needs a chat room
cant save offline like ncaa

I am having a terrible time trying to sync my easports account with my psn online account. I went to MY ACCOUNT on the website and added my psn id to my personas and chose it as my active persona. But for some reason when I attempt to go the MADDEN ONLINE FRANCHISE website, they keep telling me I can't access because I don't have a registered console. I need someone from ea to walk me through why what I am doing is not working please. I am looking forward to using some of the features that exist between console and website like photo gameface and online franchise mode, but I will not be able to use these features if my account/persona issues are not resolved.

The only problem I have with Online Franchise is the CPU logic. Why is the CPU logic online is not as smart as online. I traded Raiders WR Murphy for Lions Megatron. Even straight trade. this is just crazy besides that it is the best. THere are minor other things but not as important as this.

I just wish I could use it.

I can't get my EA account and my XBL accounts linked

please make it where when your opponet quits you can grant mercy to the computer because im good and I mostly beat people in first half so I liked how last year I could just grant the computer mercy at halftime or in the 2nd half cause im already winning by more than 21. please change this. other than that everything is good. thank you

i havenot been able to play it at all, i bought it and download is there anything im missing? keeps saying servers are down, 3rd day saying it

Things I like about the Online Franchise Web Experience:

- Great not having to be on my console to get the latest game updates.
- Very clean interface and much improved stability from the initial launch.
- Depth chart feature is great! It didn't work at first, but seems to be good now.
- iPhone app rocks!


Things I think can be improved:

- Should include all of the commissioner tools. I'd love to be able to advance the league from my iPhone.
- Add alerts for new news and trade proposals
- Just get rid of the message board altogether. The most successful OFs out there maintain their own boards, so it's an unnecessary feature.
-News needs to archive longer and commissioner posted news should appear both on the website and the console.
-More highlights archived or else just link directly to each owner's profile.
-More history than just the Superbowl winner...HOF for the league's top passers, rushers, etc. would be cool.
-Better player movement tracking; just recording this in the news is insufficient.
-Ability to export data from the website (e.g. player ratings for tracking progression, game stats archiving, etc.)
-Include a menu for playoff projections/scenarios. The tiebreakers being used are unclear.
-Track simulated games and games played vs. CPU opponents.
-Separate stat tracking for regular season and post-season.

Things I like about the Online Franchise Web Experience:

- It's a nice try for a first attempt .. I love the feature itself
- I love that people can upload replays for everyone to see
- I love the look of it ... it's nice.
- Again ... this feature has the potential to be HUGE. Lots of teams in my league are competing for most passing yards and rushing yards and sacks and picks and so on. So now not only are they looking to win but they are also trying to compile stats. If the online webpage could more accurately track that type of stuff it would be a whole lot more useful and dynamic place to be.

Things I think can be improved:

- Commish needs more powers from the web.
1. He needs to be able to advance the week from the website. Cause I'm not always at my playstation when the week needs to advance but I can pretty much always be near a browser when the week needs to advance.
2. He needs to be able to assign simulation wins or loses (for cheating/glitching or someone restarting to many times)
3. He needs to be able to manage computer teams TOTALLY. Depth Charts and Drafts being 2 major things.
- Team Stats! Team Stats! Team Stats! Right now we don't even have the player stats that we have from our ingame menu. This would be an awesome feature for smacktalking and so on. I would also add a team power ranking.
- Add a feature where we can vote for offensive and defensive player of the week. That way players could submit highlights of there player and then everyone can vote on who is the best (obviously they couldn't vote on there own teams people). This feature would keep track of past winners. MVP Votings and other awards would be cool to be added too.
-Fix the posting of messages
-Let players add full EA highlights rather than just the single play uploads from there games to the franchise website. Link it from there EA profile. This is an awesome feature. To add that with the Online Franchise website would be a super win in my book plus you already have that in place.
