i think ea adding the extra bs in the madden game that it is screwing up the game i believe that they shoulda done without the fight for fumble,measuring for first,and is the td good or not! this year`s madden sucks!

I am right there with you the game froze up on me in my Franchise and when I rebooted I could not get my Disc to eject and then I powerd cycled the system off again and now it will not read disc, instead of getting the launc system fix I will play on my Xbox until bonus time and buy a nes PS3 slim for $299.00

i may have had one freeze before on madden 10. but my real big issue is ever since the 25 when the "patch" came out. now it is such a pain just to play now with an exported team, it freezes every game. i can only be regular franchise teams, no fantasy teams. ea mess up great this time, if there isnt a patch to fix this in like a week, im retiring as a madden gamer, hate to say it.

I didnt have any problems with freezing until I downloaded the patch (Especially when using exported teams with edited player Rosters). After deleting the patch I didnt have any more freezing issues.

freezing seems to get worse with every "fix."

i am getting sick and tired of having to reboot my ps3 3 or 4 times just to play a game online.

and ironically, when i freeze, that damn AFL legacy pack video is magically unaffected.

Doesn't seem like I can get through a game anymore. Maybe I will change the clock to one Minute.

I've had to do this a couple of times. It worked for me. This came from ea support. Most of what they say is bs, but it's worth a try. Hope it helps.

If anyone is having this freezing issue, you can try this, it worked for me.
1. Navigating to the main menu on your PS3
2. Go over to the Games Menu
3. Under the Games Menu, you should see the Game Data Utility
4. Going into the utility, please find the information for Madden 10 and delete it.

last night, i went into the menu. i ended up gettin nervous about deleting madden fro m the utility. but i did delete a few other games i had rented or no longer played.

then i went into the www section of the menu and deleted cookies / cache.

seemed to work better after that. but we'll see if that is permanent or just a temporary anomaly.

Don't know if there was something going on with the ea server last night or what. I was trying to get online for hours. Every time I went to into a lobby, the game would freeze. I’m talking about the PS3 system, not just the game. I had to get up walk all the way across the room, and hold the button down for 5 second until it turned off.

Has anyone seen this, or is it just freezing the madden game. If finally worked after doing this about 20 time. I cleared the caches after the 5 or so time. This game has some major bugs when playing online.

I have it for xbox 360 and it's always freezing when someone tackles me in the red zone with my running back or player making a big play. It's extremely annoying, and i'm very upset that EA Sports has released a game with so many bugs. Apparently i'm not the only one. Does anyone have any contact info over there? I'd like to know if they plan on fixing any of this BS.

Also, this isn't even during online play so i know it's not XBox live or their servers. I'm talking about playing in franchise mode against the computer. WTF!

This game has FROZEN on my over 20 times in the past month. So yeah, that's about once for each time i've played. NOT GOOD!!!

my madden 10 on ps3 always freezes when im in the lobby looking for a game

The thing always freezes up after I play a game in my superstar mode. The lame thing is it usually freezes up when I have a really good game too. It's happened like 4 times now.

mine froze twice going into the cut scene after the championship game, i eventually had to sim the game just to get to the super bowl

My 360 does it all the time. Mostly when im beating the computer down. Just this game though. None of the others i play do that. Madden is the best.
