News for the Fight Night Forums regarding NEW Content!!!!

the only downside is that there is no mention of change to the CAB system
i was really hoping they would sort this out

but that said i am like everyone else really excited about this new update

Hi! to all,

So pleased to finally hear something from EA, all the game fixes sound very promising and the DLC boxers are all quality picks, with Holyfield as the standout name for me, with Lewis & Tyson already in the game I always felt Holyfield was a huge loss to the roster, great to see this put right.

For me the only real negative's are that there's only "3" boxers in the pack and none of them are Dempsey, Holmes, Louis, Marciano or Tua, in particular like so many people on these forums I was hoping Marciano would have made it into the game, other than that my biggest disappointment is that there are no new venue's being added, I get really fed up with boxing in the same venue's over & over again, I was hoping EA may have added at least a couple more licensed venue's, so it's a missed opportunity on that front IMO.

But fair play to EA, at least they are adding something to the game, I'm sure November will really drag now though as we have to wait until early December, BOO HOO!

Thats good news. Glad they are looking to make improvements still. One thing I would like to see is some kind of penalty for continued side steps.

Side steps already use up stamina.

I'm not too impressed with the DLC but I can't wait for the title update gameplay changes.

Increased the stamina cost when continually running away from your opponent

Why would they do that? Is skipping backwards THAT much harder than skipping forwards?

Does it not also cost energy to chase someone down?

If anything, it should've been just a general increase of stamina depletion when moving in any direction for an extended period of time.

But then a smart person wouldn't chase and would just step to cut off the ring.

Maybe it's to create some balance since they're removing the glued feet thing?

Great news!! Thanks EA, it seems we're getting a lot of what we wanted here.

I also hope for a couple more fighters to be announced, at least 1 more classic boxer like Marciano would be great.

THANK YOU for allowing us to edit the boxers, I can't wait to do that! Only thing I would wish for now is to tweak a couple things on legacy mode such as allowing us to edit the age of certain fighters so they don't retire by the time we're ready to face them and making the rankings system more dynamic especially when you become champion.

But I am impressed with this update and I definitely think it'll be worth it for hardcore FN fans.

LMAO i agree, my 250lb fat a$$ can still do this, and im 90lbs over my old fight weight and 16 years away from being the boxer i was lol

Side steps = counter freeze. An all out slugfest is more realistic than that crap.

First of all side stepping already affects stamina, try it and look at your stamina bar, the way it is round now is perfect it shouldn't be a big stamina drainer.

So is it official that only 3 boxers will be DLC ? I thought there was going to be more boxers. I was hoping Marciano would have made it.

3 boxers? Not worth it for me.

you can buy the boxers seperately if you want if you only want one of them so you dont have to spend as much money

3 more is better than no more and with the ability to edit licenced boxers stats, I would have not asked for more. I can give Tyson a proper chin now.

MY ONE QUESTION IS WILL IT BE A OLD HOLYFIELD OR A PRIME OR EVEN BOTH???
