the hitbox is fine the way it is, there should be no change at all
seperate the men from the boys...
learn to aim and guess what u may get a kill...

there is a arc to all sniper shots.. master it and you will have at least half ur shot be a headshot...
btw taging is ur friend

2 reasons
its above there head
u can trace them through walls

got atleast 40 kills through wall shots tracing someones steps and almost half of them where headshots
Im using only the first sniper with no scopes, just plain old snipe using the extra bullets to last longer cause
seems not one person wants to drop ammo anymore...

so ladies tag em and bag em

Something every sniper should do BEFORE THEY SHOOT should be to tag the enemy player, so if they miss or the shot doesn't kill, a teamate can finish them off.

the reason why it doesnt kill them in one shot on the body is because they have bullet proof vest on. and they didnt want to be like cod where if you shoot them in the foot they die in one shot. its all about the head. all i can really say to help is aim high.good luck on the battlefield(there only adding 10 new weapons. )

This is an excellent point. Afterall, the class is called Recon, not Sniper. The primary job of the recon class is to recon. Spotting vehicles, troops, and calling out what they see at objectives is where they come in. I see the rifle as a bonus and an appropriate weapon, but I don't believe the M24 should be 1 shot 1 kill if it's not a headshot. You get points for spotting enemies so your team can kill them.

Too many people are playing the recon class to go hide in the bushes and try and snipe people. While they might kill a lot of people, the team will more than likely lose the game if there's too many recon out there. I see this over and over where squads are filled with recon and the other team just blazes through the objectives and beats the map in 15 minutes.

Some day these guys will learn and they might start helping their team out more by playing their primary role. If your recon and you're not spotting enemies and calling out shots, then you're wasting space and you're a dead weight to your team. I don't care if you have 100 kills. If your team loses the game, you lose.

At the end, it says "Your team lost". It doesn't say "The enemy team won, your team lost, but hey, you did a good job."

it will lead to quickscopers dominating the battlefield and as others said, this is not CoD, we have combat distances that are actualy longer then 50 meters.

get good and be skilled and you can easy take the top of the leaderboard with the Snipers, that was allways the case in BF games:

I was ranked top 60 sniper in 2142. U gotta kill millions to get there, and everytime u go for headshot. But, it wasn't easy for me to get head shot to the moving targets in long distance, especially for medic, shot them, they would hide and heal. In the short distance, medic is dominating everyone. It would be balanced if we cripple medic kit as well.

who gets the points after all? do we get point by spotting enemies? no... Does recon get more point after we win the game? no. One good sniper will make all the enemies panic. Learn that.

That's buIIshit, u don't get kill by one shot to the foot in cod. I made a few kills ppl called it toe-shot-kill. Ppl called it that because I shot one guy to his body, and he hided behind the car, the only thing I could see was his toe, and I went for it. it worked. Toe-shot. But it took at least 3 or 4 shots to kill someone if you didn't shoot his body first.

Fact is, even if it isn't supposed to be a Realism game, which technically it isn't. It's battlefield they have they're own style. But I feel the need that if you shoot a enemy soldier in the chest or above excluding arms it should be a kill with a sniper rifle. Also it should be about 5-8 shots for a kill with a assault rifle, it might be the lag on that one though. Just my thoughts. I've always wanted a kinda more realism type battlefield, cause then you combine realism with teamwork

Not to make it over complicated, but I think if your hit with a bullet from a sniper rifle of any kind from 300+ it should incapacitate you(knock down, need medic).

If you're all going for realism, then shouldn't this be said of just about ANY gun in the game? Why should a sniper rifle to the body incapacitate you, yet a few rounds from an assault rifle would not? Snipers shouldn't get another advantage over other classes, so no, this should not happen unless you're going for ultra realism... which would take away from gameplay.

Head shot's should always be one shot, for body they did a good job with the game because you have to consider distance and BODY armor that is incorporated into the equations and the fact real soldiers wear the gear, this game has body armor upgrades as well as bullet and gun upgrades , starting off we are using the weakest gun's, I have noticed when I shoot someone in the side while they're running parallel to me it's one shot, straight on at distance two , the side is a weak spot in body armor!!!!!

Personally I think that sniper head shots should be 1 hit kill but only at range to eliminate quick scoping....

ie: further away you are the more lethal a snipers bullet is.

After all if a guy can hit you in the head at 500 meters or more with 1 round while your on the move he deserves the kill and you should be dead and besides at close range you should be using your sidearm anyway.
