The challenge of grinding in this game is to line yourself up perfectly, ollie just at the right time, and ollie the perfect hight. Also i think the left stick controls your balance, but theres no meter.

i think balancing will either be the left stick or the bumpers(for 360).

I remember reading that there was no balance. As long as you have enough speed a proper approach and contact with the rail you will grind. They are assuming you are a good skate and that if you can get onto the rail you are good enough to stay on. Same with manuals, as long as you have enough speed you wont fall out of it until you lose speed.

I think the bumpers will be used for placing a respawn point and respawning.

Like it was said previously, grinding is all about the angle of approach, the speed, and the ollie/kickflip/whatever to get up on to the rail. There is NO infinite grinding and you will fall if you make an error on the speed, approach, or the ollie.

The actual grind is pretty basic, there isn't a lot going on mainly because there isn't a lot going on in a 2 second grind in real life. The producers are of the thought (and correctly so I might add) that if you have the proper approach and speed you should be able to grind perfectly fine. Professionals do not all the sudden lose balance during a grind, they usually have problems with getting onto the rail properly. The grinds are designed to properly emulate this.

Don't worry guys, it'll be dope.

The game has improved so much its really looking sick, the animations are much smoother. But i am kinda worried about the demo because it is well before the release and i know i can't resist playing it like crazy so when the actual game comes it won't be AS sweet if I experienced everything at one time.
Don't get me wrong still stoked for everything.
