Please help....after a multiplayer game on bad company 2, it will say for instance that I have had 12 kills and 10 deaths yet underneath it will say that I have had say 14 or more kills with a certain weapon. How is this possible and which is the true amount of kills I have had in a round?

i think that the most scored by some1 in your squad im not sure, lol i was wondering the same thing

My guess was the second kills is the total number of kills and kill assists you've had with that weapon.

kill assists is what I have always thought the bottom # was

I think that number is the cumulative amount of kills with that weapon including past rounds

Search is your friend.

I believe in the dozen topics that I read on this the past few days, the lower number, usually indicating a different number than your current kills, is the cumulative kills of the past rounds on that particular map. Two rounds on Port Valdez will show a high number on the bottom, indicating total kills for both rounds, and what weapon you used to get them. If the maps change in between rounds (I.E. you come in as defenders, map change then you are attackers) the kill count gets a little goofy, and usually fixes itself after a full match (two rounds) on the same map.

It always has the weapon/vehicle/gadget you attained the most kills with that round. There is a glitchy bug with it, and it shows the total amount of kills for that current game session with said killing utensil. So say I get 20 kills with the m16 last round, and 25 this round (total of 30 kills).... the M16 will appear as my tool of destruction, but say 45 kills. Hope this helps
