Need for Speed Racing Games

I find it amazing that the developers have overlooked the option to use the d pad for steering. I mean why? Why would you want to limit your potential audience and sales by missing out such a simple control option? I've been using the stick to steer and whilst i can do it to a certain degree i don't find it much fun, quite irritating actually. Three of my friends refuse to buy this game because of it. Shame really cos it's a beautiful game and it would be by far the best racing game on the Xbox if it wasn't for such a silly omission.
