And a date? Rumor has it is is sometime in fall 2010. Anyone know for sure??

spring 2011 in england apparantly, but yes, that should make it fall 2010 stateside.
i know a few things about it from eden themselves.
the action has Moved from Hawaii. its located on Ibiza this time around.
they've also dropped the Unlimited sub tag. its now Test Drive: High Life, it will offer more avatar customeiseation, more clothing, far more vehicles and vehicle types, such as SUV's, the Latest Exotics, classic European Sports cars, hot Hatchbacks, US Muscle, Racing Cars, Junkers, Etc, its unknown however, if the bikes, universally derided in TDU will return. the new game will offer a 24/7 Day Night Cycle, although its unknown wether it will be in compressed time or real time, or optional between them, it will feature real time dynamic weather, and much improved handling model that will blend arcade and simulation much more accurately than the fun but flawed tdu. once again, the game will have a large anmount of MMO dynamics, such as the house purchasing and clothes shopping, as well as driving missions, yet also keeping the AI racing, and massive single player offline opportunities of the first (quite the opposite of world) there will be more unique types of house this time as well, rather than repeated basic renders. the single player mode this time will have a story to follow, and exploring ibiza will allow you to find wrecked cars, that will unlock cars in the dealership that will overwise be unavailable, such as the Jaguar XJ-13 and the Devon GTX, there will be damage this time around, but its cosmetic only, it wont affect the cars handling or performance, also driving home or resetting to the road will repair the car, as paying for repairs is universally UNPOPULAR amongst european gamers, wich the game is aimed at, as hinted at by its location.

Sounds interesting. I would prefer paying for repairs though. Makes for better drivers.

Uh, that's Gamestop. They are never right about the release dates unless the publisher officially announces it.

Gamestop gives a street date provided by the game maker, dates are always subject to change.

Gamespot has in the past been off a couple days, but does it really matter if it comes out one day versus the next?

Absolutely brilliant!!!

The first one took me about an hour to drive the whole edge of the island.

Simulation of road effects with respect to force feed back is one of the best I have ever felt.

Some of the most rare and beautiful cars of all time.

If it follows suite like the first one, then a definate to get for me.

All I hope now is that the fps is a little better than the 12-14 I get on Shift.
