Showtime offered me a match! Here's what happened

We played 3 6game sets.

Utter nightmares, each of them!

I must be getting old/burnt out with this game. I find it virtually impossible to concentrate properly for long periods of time against the best players. I have flashes of inspiration but they just come and go, I get so frustrated too easily, play nervously and then get pisssed off.

First match I lost 1-6. I had a break point at 1-1 on his serve, got distracted for a SECOND by something in my flat, then lost the next 5 games in a row, easily.

2nd match. Much more even, although serve bugs for him meant I was gifted a few points back which helped me to win games. When I broke his serve to lead 5-4 , it just felt inevitable that he would break me back. I really fought for that game, had a match point, but he broke me in the end.......and he went on to win 7-5.

So far so Ping pong.

3rd match, I was utterly depressed. I broke him easily in the first game, then got killed. I was down 1-4, 15-40......then a sudden calm came over me. I stopped screaming everytime I lost a point, played more positvely, reacting to each point in the same way, win or lose. He broke me to lead 5-1, but I didn;t mind, I felt better than I had during the previous 2 matches. Suffice to say, I came back from 5-1 down to beat him in the tiebreak 7-3. Finally!

Serve bug affected the matches in horrible moments however. But it was nice to finallly play someone who didnt take advantage of it.

Anyways: You have James' mail address, Epon. Should not be impossible to find a date and time on which both of you have time. Both should try to be punctual, but showing some patience is always a good idea.

EDIT: The "edit trick" has worked for the third time - just edit your message one or two times if it doesn't show up.

I didn't go offline at 7:03, I wasn't online at all because I didn't expect him to be there.
