Need for Speed Racing Games

I'd like to know why I sometimes have false given cut track penalties.
A good example of this is when I try to run with my Lamborgini Murciélago LP640 fully tuned (tier 3) at Road America.
While I was fine tuning this car it was frequent the times that it was going out track but that's not the issue. The problem is when I recover from going out track. Not only I have to "pay" for the time loss recovering from leaving the track but also I have to "pay" for (not) cutting track (5 sec or warnings).
How can I correct this? I've already lost races because of this error!
