I'm not sure what's changed. I think this was working before.
I can drive up to a race or shop, I get the icon in the upper left on the screen, but pressing enter does nothing.
If I'm in free roam, and I get a rival challenge, pressing enter (or any button or key) doesn't do anything, and the challenger just ends up leaving.

Turns out this was an issue between my controller software and NFS Carbon. I have CH USB joysticks and use the CH Control Manager to map a pair of joysticks into 1 virual controller, this works fine, but if I program any buttons to generate key strokes, it messes up the enter key, but only for enter shop or start rival challenge. As long as I use a control manager "map" that doesn't genreate keystrokes, it seems to work.
