NCAA Football 2011 Wishlist (EA read and apply please)

EA please read this, im not an oregon duck fan but all of their uniform combinations are sweet try and put it in for 2011.

First... Get rid of everything that takes up much needed space, such as team builder and campus legend. I get what campus legend is for, but would you rather have a game with great graphics, game play, more in depth dynasty mode & a 8 team bcs playoff option... or campus legend? Choose your battles! Instead of having these "extras" in the game, have them as add-ons. That way if you don't want them, you don't have to have them but you can get them. Give us more customization. Keep the game basic with Exhibition, Season/Dynasty Modes etcetera. then if we want campus legend or team builder, let us get it as on add-on. This give you more room for making the game play and graphics the best they can be.

Also, stop adding new technologies unless ALL the glitches have already been fixed. There are enough glitches to fix as it is. Fix and improve on what you already have before adding in new technologies. Most the time, they aren't ready to be added.

My wish looks like this.

1) The option, in dynasty mode, to choose the standard BCS system or a BCS Playoff w/ 8 teams. The top 8 in the BCS standings are in the playoff. It's that simple.

2)Customization. Playbooks. I want to, and I'm sure many other people want this to as well, be able to pick and choose which formations are in OUR playbooks. Offensively, I want to be able to choose the formations I want to use in a game. Then Defensively, I want don't want to be stuck in the box that I'm given. In every NCAA game made, there are really no defensive options. A 4-3 playbook gives you a 4-4, a 5-2, 46 bear, nickel, dime, quarter. Well maybe I don't want the 4-4. Maybe I want a 3-4 instead. Or maybe I don't want the 46 bear but instead the standard 46. I want the option to choose which defenses I want for my team. Then let me choose the "sub-formations" that are in each of the bases. Maybe i just want Nickel and not the 3-3-5 and Strong sub-formations that are given to me. Customization is very very important. I want to feel like I'm basically the coach of the team, picking and choosing what I want offensively and defensively. Offensively, give us 20 formations slots, a few different options for Goal Line (since they're not all the same) then the automatic special teams. Let us choose the exact offense we want. Defensively, give us 13-15 slots to choose which specific formations we want, along with the automatic, goal line and special teams. LET US CHOOSE!

3)New Stadium, Stadium Improvements & Modifications in Dynasty mode. If I start with a team that has a small stadium and I start winning games, conference championships & national championships, my fan support is going to go up. If my team's stadium only holds 40,000, its going to need modifications for the larger fan base. There might even be the need for a NEW stadium! It could be set up to randomly add 20,000 seats or 10,000 seats with sky boxes. If I have a winning team, the boosters are gonna want to improve anything & everything that has to do with the football team. Also, maybe even let us choose what our stadium looks like. Just let us choose by giving us stadium options that are already in other stadiums and some new ideas as well. NO DOMES though. Also, let us choose the grass and the grass color. If Boise can have blue turf, why can't I have red turf or gray turf? again, customization. Give gamers the option to have what the want.

4)In-Depth Recruiting. The recruiting is very good already. The only thing I would suggest is some kind of system where if you get "Most", you get to see the specific ratings in any of 5 attributes. If you get "very high," you get 3, "high," you get 1. Something to where we have to chance to now exactly what we are getting with a certain player. Have this "attribute option" only be available for the first 3 weeks. we only get one chance to use it, so we better be smart about it.
There also use to be "blue chip" players. What if you brought that back but didn't tell us which players they were? All we know is that there are no fewer than 15 and no more than 21 "blue chips" scattered randomly in the top 150 players. Then when and IF we get a blue "blue chip" player, it only lets us know when they commit to a school. The other thing, since you use ESPN already... the the ESPN 150, instead of just top 100. That one is minor, but would be a nice touch.

5) Pre-game and Post game activities. I'll keep this short. I want to see players warming up pregame. And players shaking hands and celebrating during postgame. Maybe even throw in shots of players being interviewed. An the one MAIN MAIN thing... When a team has an upset... I want to see the fans storm the field. Or even in a close rivalry game. Look at Texas/Texas Tech in 2008. They were both ranked highly and when Tech won, the fans stormed the field.

6)The little things. Add the chains back on the sidelines. Fix the issues with the first down line. Sometimes the offense won't even be close to the first down and they give it to them. That has to do with the geometry in the game i'm guessing. so fix that. also, fix the challenge problems. sometimes i cant even challenge the spot of the ball because it tells me that i've already watched a replay or the play isn't reviewable. YES IT IS!

I just read someone's idea about the momentum meter. I've had this idea before as well. But I think it should be separate on each side of the ball. I 'd like to see some kind of "reward" momentum meter. The game starts out 50/50. Then if you get a first down maybe it goes to 52/48. Then the next play is a sack. It goes the other way. 48/52. Something like that. If you get a 3 and out on defense, you gain 2 points in the momentum meter. Same goes with offense. If you drive down the field and score a touchdown, you get 3 points, a field goal, 2 points. If you get stopped and have to punt, it stays 50/50. Just something along those lines. I always found it stupid when your defense would shut down a team the entire game, then all the sudden in the fourth quarter, they drive down the field and score like its nothing. There needs to be something that keeps track of that sort of thing.

Also, I'd like to see closer games with top 5 and top 10 teams when they play each other. If I'm number 10, playing a #1... rarely should I blow them out by 20 points or vice versa. Most games played by teams ranked close together should be within 14 points, some even within 7 and 3. I know that sometimes there are blowouts even with two top 10 teams, but for the most part, the games stay close enough that they could go either way.

I think that pretty much covers my main points. I understand that Campus Legend maybe something to keep in but not team builder. It's a waste of space because the majority of people don't use it. In closing... this is football. Keep it simple. Give me FOOTBALL! and everything that is in the college football atmosphere. Don't "WOW" me in one area and let me down HUGE time in another. Just satisfy me as a football fan first, then as a gamer and I think that will be enough. Great game play, graphics & realism. That's what I want in a game. There is a reason they say "keep it simple stupid."

ALSO GIVE A LISTING OF EACH TEAMS ROSTER.5.HALFTIME SHOW- GIVE HIGHLIGHTS OF EACH OTHER GAMES THAT ARE GOING ON AS WELL WITH YOURS AND GIVE THE HIGHLIGHTS OF YOUR GAME. 6.POSTGAME-GIVE AN INTERVIEW OF THE WINNING COACH AND THE MVP OF THE GAME. 7.THE WEEK BEFORE THE GAMES TO BE ABLE TO SCHEDULE PRACTICES OR TEAM MEETINGS DURING EACH WEEK. BEFORE THE WEEK STARTS AFTER EACH WEEKEND PLAYED HAVE THE ANNOUNCERS GO THROUGH THE TOP 25 TEAMS AND PICK WHICH TEAMS SHOULD MOVE UP OR MOVE DOWN IN THE POLL.ALSO HAVE THEM CHOOSE THE HOTTEST TEAM FROM LAST WEEK MOVING FORWARD TO NEXT WEEK. 8. THE CHAMPIONSHIPGAME THE PLAYERS INTRODUCTION, THE NATIONAL ANTHEM HAVE A SPECIAL HALFTIMESHOW WITH HOMETEAM BAND AND THE CHEERLEADERS DANCINCING ON THE FEILD. THE POST GAME SHOW HAVE A CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY PRESENATION AND A SPECIAL VIDEO PRESENATION OF THE TEAM WHOLE SEASON THAT LED TO THIS MOMENT BY WINNING THE TROPHY. PEOPLE NEED TO STFU ABOUT PRESENTATION... atmosphere is fine... as soon as EA sees this and focuses on presentation, the gameplay will go downhill just to improve presentation (ex - every sports game ever made)

either more teambuilder options (more stadiums/logos/team builds/etc or FCS teams (absolutely NO reason you can't put them in... they were in last gen, they should be able to be put in "next-gen")

FORMATION SUBS (although not for h2h online, people can use this for serious "cheesing")

PLAYOFF OPTION when starting a dynasty... simple... 8 teams... top in BCS go... easy enough

Are you starting to see a pattern here??? Since this came out on PS3 this game has not gotten any better. Nothing is smooth in this game. Bring back the developers from '05, because they seemed to care about the product. Also, I'm tired of playing a game that has no refs. I guess you guys like playing one big pick up game. Mine as well put flags on them and play flag football. You guys suck!

Chain gang, when players get hurt have trainers run out to see them. Make it like a real ESPN college football game with pregame presentation, you should see the fans buying jerseys, at the concession stand, or just getting into the stadium, have the revolution speed and the schutt ion 4d in the game. When editing and creating players you should have more options like handwarmers, towels, and different kind of cleets such as- nike, adidas, under armour, reebok. A more real life gameplay. If its a "big game" you should have a "big game" atmosphere and the the noise in a stadium should affect the game a little more. And i think would be the most fun would be to have create your own playbook that can be used online or in anything else.

I'd love to see the ability to have co-Commissioners for Online Dynasty Mode as well as the ability to Spectate other user games within the Online Dynasty.

pretty much what everyone else says but personally... i like RTG.... but it really depends on the position... like CB... with the camera angle i cant see. Why did ya'll take away the option of being on O-Line or being a TE! Take away team builder or w\e and the mascot thing. some of the RTG angles are horrible. I really want coaching staff and a better thing on coaching contracts for dynasty...

Seriously... When is EA going to add the new revolutionary helmets?? It's absolutely driving me nuts at this point. For about three years now the revolutionary helmets have been left out- except for the ones that have been around for years, the only new one they've added is the one Polamalu (sp?) wears, and tebow wears. But that's it! Put in the new helmets already. Each year for the past 3 years I've been dissapointed. Over silly helmets!! But it's annoying, everyone who plays the game wants it as real as it can get. You can't get that when they don't have the same equipment. If you want to improve the game, start w/ the basics, player detail- like the helmets. Maybe even add in the dreadlocks that a lot of players have. Or color specific shoes for each team, that would certainly make me happy too. I'm just tired of the lack of detail EA has. It's almost like they're too lazy to worry about it. I don't feel like they truly have the fan pulse. I'm off my soap box, hope they see this.

Spring Game Would be cool for campus legend
Also working out, getting your guy in the weight room instead of doing the same plays in practice to improve their stats
Seeing before and after game talk with the host taking about the teams pros and cons
Uniform updates in Xbox live or on the Playstation network would be great because so many teams change their uniforms have way into the season
Have the players more better at running because they run to robot
Be able to add features in Dynasty like giving player of the week or pride stickers
Have smaller RB juke more instead of running over everyone in their path

#7 ~ Optional Playoffs/BCS - DEFINITELY!! I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to have the option of a PLAYOFF!!

i think everything has been pretty much covered, but another thing i would like to see with Teambuilder is the ability to gain sponsorhips such as Nike,Underarmour, Adidas, etc. also being able to customize a little bit more like being able to write school name on certain parts of the jersey e.g. oregon ducks pants and boise state pants.

bring back the people running through the tunnel and the pre game stats campared with how the rank nationally. and yea i agree that the height and weight of the person should have an effect on how they play. example. 6"4 wide receiver against 5'10 corner. wr should do him dirty all game long.
