I have seen many threads regarding browsers issues & bugs and thought this may be a useful poll for the Devs , I think that we should have the widest availiable choice of browsers for TWO and feel we should not be restricted because of incompatability problems that a large number of people are facing.
When I first joined the beta program I was using Internet Explorer 8.0 and quickly found it to be full of bugs which included the full screen bug, TWO website images not appearing correctly, frequent crashes ETC, this restricted my acess to and enjoyment of the game, so almost straight away I switched to Firefox 3.5, then 3.6.
Since then I have only had one problem and that was due to my ISP, NOT Firefox, I am not promoting Firefox or any other browser, obviously I am going to use the browser that works best for me.
So perhaps once you have registered your vote you could list your problems and bugs that you may have come across, so Greg and his web designer can find which browser is most popular and has the most problems then they will be able to work towards fixing these poroblems more quickly, Thanks peeps...

I did not include Chrome because its not on the minimum and recommended system specifications list..
Browsers I use/used:
IE 8 :- Full screen bug, TWO website images not showing up & disappearing, TWO game lag, frquent crashes.
Firefox 3.5/3.6:- None, as yet.

Thats strange, because it works better than IE8. About the same as FF 3.6

I use Chrome 4.1 mostly, or Firefox 3.6 - never the 'other' one.
EA's web monkeys will have access to all this information in the HTTP Web Server logs.

Well I have just had a message from EA_VinceSantos saying he is very interested in the results , so I am sure this will be extremely usefull to EA and/or the Devs, and the HTTP server wont have a list of bugs either..
Please dont forget to list any bugs or problems you have had , thankyou...

Sorry, but I can't pick just one.
This is because I have tried them all. And still do.
When one isn't working right, I use another one. Really haven't found any of them work flawlessly.
IE8 was the fastest and most reliable, till I switched Operating systems and went to Windows 7 Pro.
Unfortunately using Windows 7 and IE8 won't give you true full screen mode while golfing. For some reason
they aren't compatible for this game as far as full screen mode. You can stretch your screen, but doesn't look as good as true full screen. So now I go back and forth between Chrome and Firefox.

Oh I agree, the HTTP stats are just that - boring stats, they tell nothing of individual experience or preference. Carry on sir.

Most crashes I have been experiencing lately are Unity crashes when minimizing screen while online during golf play.
This has mostly happened with Firefox. But, have had it happen a couple times using Chrome.
And have also had extreme slow loading of the game, forum pages and Pro Sop when using Firefox more than Chrome.
Don't usually have any slow loads with IE8. Just the full screen bug while playing.

Use mostly FF 3.6. As mentioned already it crashes a lot upon leaving the game, whether at conclusion, or upon suspending a round. This also happens with Chrome. Have not experienced an in game loss of connection for sometime now, with either browser.

Yes Crusty your right ,
I just tried it out in a tourney , very similar problem , I tried to minimise the Full screen window which then crashed to a Bug feedback window, never experienced that before because I always use the windows key to minimise which does not crash..
