Notes
Tyler Ennis is a left-wing and has been a left-winger since juniors, and has never played center for the Sabres. Change him to a left winger, please.
Thomas Vanek has a generic face. He should still have his authentic face seeing that he's one of the "faces of the franchise" and his authentic face has been in previous games for how many years now? No reason for him to have a generic face...
Player Rating Suggestions
(I'll only suggest players that I think should receive boosts in their ratings, as that's more important than lowering other players' ratings for the time being.)
And guys, feel free to PM me for anything dealing with the Sabres lineups, roster and ratings, or just post it in the thread. I'm open to taking into consideration what other Sabres fans think about anything I've posted in this thread, as well as any suggestions or fixes that you feel need to be addressed.
I have 2 other suggestions in terms of players themselves, not ratings, and they deal with the authentic faces and hair color of Tyler Myers and Tyler Ennis, which I'll detail in an additional post in the thread.

One player who for sure needs his ratings up is Cody McCormick. Only 74 OVR and he is having a career year and he does everything Adam Mair did for us but 5x better, and Mair is 79 OVR.

One of the biggest gripes I have is that Tyler Myers and Tyler Ennis, both who have blonde hair, are stuck with blackish/dark brown hair in the game, as well as generic faces which are inaccurate representations of each of them. Also, Myers won the Calder Trophy last year, yet players such as Taylor Hall, Cam Fowler, Tyler Seguin, etc, already have their authentic faces in the game. Tyler Ennis was the AHL Rookie of the Year, and both guys are important players on the Sabres roster.
Using the create-a-player feature I was able to, in the game, make Tyler Myers look almost exactly like he actually does, and at some point, it'd be nice if the EA team considered adding the authentic faces for these guys. (For the record, I am not complaining, I'm merely suggesting).

i think drew stafford should be upgraded as he has 17 goals in 35 games (from top of my head may be wrong) so 80 WSA and WSP is quite low. Roy should be a bit better as him and Spezza have the same points per game over the last 2.5 seasons and yet spezza is 4 overalls better. Ennis should have more skating skill and balance too.

Agreed, I think I'll save my Cody McCormick suggestion for next week or whenever, I completely forgot about Staff. He has something like 75 wrist shot accuracy which is definitely way too low. He actually has 20 goals in 35 games and is at 30 points in 35 games. He definitely is deserving of an upgrade to both his rating and his potential.
EDIT: Updated my original post to include Drew Stafford rating suggestion, deleted Cody McCormick suggestion(for now).

Aaaaaaaaand Stafford scores 2 goals in the 1st period of today's game against the Islanders, giving him 22 goals and 32 points in 35 and 1 period games played. Glad I added him to my ratings suggestions for this week, can't believe I originally forgot about him. Dude's absolutely on fire offensively right now.

Haha I can't believe I forgot about Drew. And I agree about the changes for him that you posted. Drew should be a Power Forward in the game.
Absolutely lighting it up right now, 4 hat-tricks in his last 21 games.
Good work NBarry19, keep it up!!

I like how you are doing this, thinking about skills to upgrade, not doing drastic changes. Some GM's seem to be talking "upgrade to a 84" instead of thinking what attributes to upgrade to get them there.

Updated the line-up as Patrick Kaleta returned from injury yesterday against the Islanders, with Paul Byron being a healthy scratch.

Miller is scratched and will be in the press box.
Lalime is backing up

Many people ask me why I sign off 'til we meet again.' It's because goodbye is so final.

Yeah Miller is scratched tonight, but will start tomorrow night. Also, Ruff was not happy with Kaleta's game on Sunday, so he is out tonight with Paul Byron back in. With Enroth called up, Ruff pretty much has no more confidence to start Lalime anymore. Not that he had many starts at all...
