Need for Speed Racing Games

Can I turn the transmission to manual in the game? I wanted to play the game with manual shifting but I can't see any option in the settings menu.

I'd be really grateful for some help.

As far as I know, the game doesn't support manual transmission. I'm a big proponent of manual in real life but I'm happy that I don't have to deal with it in the game (I'm a total beginner in NFS)

I have a steering wheel so it's because of that.
And can't you help me with my previous problem with the steering lock I've written at the bottom of page 33?

Sorry, can't help. I use the standard 360 controller. I have the new 360 Wireless Speed Wheel but found it for me not that great (works for me better with Forza).

Hello I bought the new xbox 360 "wireless speed wheel"..and it works in the sence that I can control the car...but I have a problem with the vibration and the so famous lights on the steering wheel that should illuminate...well they never illuminate and it doesnt vibrate at all.
Someone can tell me what to do please.

It's been a while but I reckon this isn't a one-off problem.
After upgrading my computer operating system to Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, Hot Pursuit now crashes to desktop with my Logitech G25 plugged in. Without it, the game works fine. Awfully confusing, and it never happened before this. Does anyone know a workaround for this?
