I tried to bring my TW PGA Tour 2010 golfer profile with me on a USB stick to friend's xbox360, but we simply couldn't make it work.
Steps:
1.) I formatted it with the Xbox 360 dialogue
2.) I set the USB stick as storage devices from the within the game.
3.) I didn't get any kind of confirmation that my profile had been transferred, so I also did a quick game to ensure that some kind of progress would be saved.
4.) But... all that showed up on my friends xbox was a 'Saved game' - no 'Game profile'. Transferring the saved game wasn't successful either, nothing could be loaded into the empty slots.
So - how does transferring profiles between Xboxes and golf games work?! Please help (and thanks for a great game

On the Dashboard if you go to memory with the stick plugged in does it show up?
If it does then you should be able to go to Memory,Hard Drive,Tiger Woods 10,Games and copy your character to the stick. You also need to move your gamertag to the stick.
Go to your friends house and when you're on the dashboard log in to XBox live using your gamertag from the stick.
Then when you're in the game go to Player Management and Load your character from the card.
When you go home you need to move your Gamertag back to your box.You cannot copy a Gamertag so it needs to be moved back and forth.

Thanks for your reply! I figured it wouldn't be relatively easy I guess the easiest would be e.g. accessing and loading my profile via the net from my friend's xbox - no stick, just a code. But this is definitely worth it!
I'm not on the xbox now, but I do have two other questions:
1.) Do I move my gamertag to the stick from that same menu in the Dashboard menu?
2.) Is my gamertag lost forever if e.g. a monkey snatches it from my cold, deadlike hands and throws it into the tall grass, never to be seen again?
Thanks in advance,
Niels

1)Same menu 2nd category.I'm not at a box right now but I think the first one is Games and the second one is Game Profiles (or something like that). You get your Gamertag there.
2) If you did run in to an out of control monkey then you can always get your tag back on your box.I can't remember where it is but there's a way to retrieve it.I can't remember what it's called but it's there somewhere.I think it's under My XBox where you log in.
