Josh Birkholz is missing in Florida system

Vokoun is rated WAY to high, he is very overrated. He should be in the mid-80s. There are many goalies better than him in real life, but is isn't reflected that way in NHL 11.

I agree with the above post, Vokoun is rated too high at least for this season. He really hasn't given a 90 or even 89 overall. 84 to 85 should be good.

Stillman is back in the lineup and McCabe should/could be returning from his broken jaw this week. I will look to see who is getting sent back down unless you get it first but overall that is pretty much what it is.

I have to see what the ratings are for each guy. Will look through it later today (its now 12:43am)

Think of this though, he has never played on an "offense first" team. I agree that he shouldn't be rated that high, but with his secondary stats, you should be able to see why he gets this rating. In real life he is actually the most underrated goalie in the league.

I think the forward lines for tonight will be:

Higgins-Reasoner-Olesz
Hordichuk-Timmins-Berneir

The Higgins-Reasoner-Olesz line did great last game so Pete will probably keep em together for tonight

Oh, come on. Even though I'm a Flyers fan and used to live in Philly, I live in Florida now and go to a lot of Panthers game. Vokoun when he was on Nashville would have his 89 rating no problem, he was good back then. This year, and the past 2 years or so he has been awful. He deserves a rating around 84-85 instead of an 89 rating which is higher than almost all other goalies.

Even though he hasn't had too much of an offensive support, the last 2 years Vokoun did all he could and had plenty of good solid games compared to how he is doing this year. I have neevr seen Vokoun let in so many soft shots then in years past and he hasn't exactly played his best games this season. An 84-85 rating is good right now as I don't think he currently deserves an 89 rating. Other goalies are doing much better then he is and are rated less.

The fire sale has begun:

Bernier is on waivers. If he clears, he will be back in the line-up next game (maybe)

Cory Stillman has been traded to Carolina for Ryan Carter and a 5th RD Pick. Suppoesdly Carter is on a day-to-day but due to Skille injury he may jump in.

Callahan and Repik should be getting a call up as well for the next game.

Weiss and Booth at this moment are considered long shots for trade and with the NTC they may not move unless the deal is HUGE and involves a center.

Also, rumor has McCabe possibly being traded in the next two days to the Rangers.
