A picture is worth a thousands words, but I wish EA would have put one word on the flags of opponents: name of the country.

Searched EA and didn’t find list of flags with country names. Searched web, found flags, edited and arranged in the same order as GST 100 flags.

Enjoy!

Also didn’t understand where and how to change flag that was written on this site. If someone has a better explanation that would be nice!

Keep trying, adapt and overcome. US eastern time 4:00PM to 7:00PM (9:00PM to 12:00AM UK time).
Thanks,

Um, holy *?! Nice job Doug.

To change your flag, it's simple.

1. Click onto the drop down arrow beside 'Welcome,________' at the top right hand corner.
2. Click onto 'My Account'.
3. Now you'll see change 'My Password' and 'Update My Info' highlighted in an orange box.
4. Click onto 'Update My Info'.
5. And then under your 'email address', you will see 'language'.
6. Now click onto the drop down arrow in the 'language' box and pick a country!
7. Once you've picked your desired country, click save.
8. You have now officially changed your flag.

Note: You must be signed out of GST Online (In-game) to have your flag changed.

Perhaps Im old fashioned but the only reason that I can see to have to change your flag is for example an American living in the uk IP address will show English and he/she has every right to fly the American flag. If you are living and playing in the country of your brth be proud of it and fly your countries flag. I think that this is a loophole that a lot of players of ill-repute use. The other thing I do not understand is why a man has to use a female player okay I know its a strategy thing. But not lets forget a few decades ago we through a lot of athletes out of the olympics because they were men in womens clothing from a genetic point of view. SR

Slimy, I think you're very old fashioned.

This is a gaming forum, not a parliament.

Hey Buckshin,

It works!!! Thanks for the info. There are more countries there than I found in the GST nations leaderboard which just shows 100. Don’t have any plans of playing under a different flag, but was just curious how to do it.

I thought it would be nice to know if I were playing someone in Antarctica…help keeping them warm by giving them a reason to move! But with all the flag changing, I could be playing someone in the house next to me!!!

Don’t have any plans of playing under a different flag, but was just curious how to do it. Well said Doug95. I made the mistake of commenting that nearly every American, Japanese and Spaniard I played seemed to cheat not realising that players could change their flag. I afterwards made a public apology for this as soon as I was informed how easy it is to change a flag. Perhaps I am of the old breed who are proud of their country of birth. But I do ask myself the question why would a player want to change his flag other than to hide something. Regds. SR

I can sort of relate with you as playing as your country's flag for pride. 99% of the time, I am playing beside my country's flag, Australia, because there are hardly any active Australian players. Also, I just enjoy representing Australia to show other people that not only can American's and European countries play this game well, but Australia can as well. If I'm correct, I think Australia is the only country with more the one player in the top ten. And when you compare how many people from America and European countries play this game compared to Australia, I think that's a pretty sweet feat.

The GOAT.
