I think respawining should be taken out because when I skate, I can't respawn at home from daowntown...I have to take a bus or cab (I could drive but gas is high). I think buses and cabs should be added to go with this whole "realistic" thing. Go big or go home.

The respawning system, most likely, isn't for long distance. Its a way to make your guy respawn behind a staircase or something so you can try a trick over and over. Without having to waste time going back to the same place every time you try.

Yea, for long distances they have a subway system. I'd say that's realistic enough.

Good point. Cabs would be weird, how the heck would you hail them?

hah, if you look really closely at the map you can see a monorail running all through the town.

As Mr. Blackwood did say, you will be taking subways to get to different areas of town that otherwise take a long time to get there Spawning back up staircases is cool to me, but honestly, I think it'd be kinda cool to make my way back up to the starting point. It would give me a lot more motivation to land the trick - although I'm sure you can do either one.

Also though when I skate I get tired after a while and will have to rest and get water, or something, and if it had a stamina meter that was invisible like fight night or gave you the option to see it that would just be ridiculous, some things in reality just stink when you bring it into a game, it would be a load of fun trying to stuff my board inbetween my legs with analog sticks without having the cab driver kick me in the nuts for scratching his dash with my grip, seriously though its not a big deal if its not forced on you to use it. An extra feature is an extra feature, you don't have to use it. If it pleases somebody else then thats one more person they have happy, but if its something you don't have to use its just another useless place in the options to ignore along with the Vibrations options and 99% of the time the FX options. Honestly if teleport is long distances you know that riding a subway is no different then teleporting other than you ride to a place to teleport, its not like you sit in the actual train on the game for 3 minutes and wait for it to come to a stop, thats no fun anyways. If riding the subway was that realistic then screw that I'll teleport, otherwise it won't hurt me to take a few minutes and enjoy making a line while I go to the subway. If its in and you don't want it, then don't use it, if its not and you want it thats a completely different story. Know what i mean? I know what you are saying though.

The train station or subway whatever it is, is realistic, and unless you wanna actually take a cab in the game and take 5 min to get there then they could do that, and while there at it, you should have to feed your character too, because that's real, and when you get hurt you have to treat it and can't skate for a while in the game, that's real too.

This game isn't about life! It's about skateboarding! We don't need to go that far.
