There's a new THPG trailer over at game trailers and man is that game gonna BLOW. The in game camera is slightly angled to mimick skate's main gameplay cam, the animations are the same sh**ty ones from project 8, the gameplay is the SAME as project 8, the whole concept of choosing what kinda skater you are is lame and the last trick in the vid just makes you want to laugh! Sorry neversoft, but u guys just disproved yourselves. Thanks for all the great past TH games...but SKATE has just won this whole THPG vs. SKATE competition.

I will rent this, just because when you have bought every hawk game to date you have to at least own it for 5 days. It looks ridiculous, the first 2 tricks looked alright, the K I think on the rail he set out of the building looked decent I don't remember I watched it like 7 hours ago, but where do these guys come up with these ideas? They made a freaking world war 2 game where you pick a sniper with grapplings or the other 2 like that, it kinda reminds me of this one because it takes something real and turns it super gay.

yeah, i don't think it looks horrible, it IS an improvement over THP8, but yeah, i'm definatly not nearly as hyped for this as i am for SKATE...

The animations look pretty good, actually, But it's kind of "floaty", like the early skate vids. BTW, the new Skate vid looks great! Good job, EA!

The trailer wasn't very good, but mike v's plant on that rail to the drop was ridiculous.

i'll prolly rent this or d'load the demo, it looks a little better from P8, but it seems to be pretty much the same gameplay. it and skate are two different types of skate games, so like i said, i'll prolly d'load it.

Word. The TH/Skate comparisons need to stop; no one has played either game and therefore can't form a just opinion about either. Speak your minds about the videos, but for pete's sake, don't form a final opinion months before a game's release! That is being voluntarily ignorant, uninformed, and misguided!
