As Jay Balmer said in the new preview, the way you set up and execute a trick will effect the fluidity of animation. SO, this means you will have to be more skilled in order to make the game LOOk more realistic. I mean, it's like doing a basic heelflip backside noseslide in project 8... you can heelflip 2 feet away from the ledge and still lock into a grind making it look all sketchy, or you can attempt to land your heelflip precisely on the ledge for a smooooth animation into the grind. I'm assuming the same follows for skate, which would be awesome cuz it would truly seperate the highly skilled players from the average ones.
