Don't know if anyone saw this link: http://www.oxm.co.uk/article.php?id=148
I guess you can luge in this game (conceptually anyways). I don't think its necessary but it'll be interesting to do. Who hasn't ever luged on a skateboard who skateboards anyways? I do it once in a while for the heck of it cause its fun. At least it won't be like TH games that have you jump over cars or whatever while you do it.
All this is assuming that isn't just some sort of joke...

Not its not a joke, I've seen it mentioned a few times before. They said you can't change the board size or anything, but that a button press combination lays you flat on the board.

thats interesting. i doubt i'll do that often, but it sounds like it could be fun. i mean, the more things you can do on the board, the more realistic right?

i doubt you'd have to balance while luging, that would be too much for a afterthought trick

oh right, my bad.
well, for grinding, my theory is, that for grinds like 50-50's and boardslides, you just need to ollie on and spin to the required angle. For nosegrinds/ 5-0's i think that it'll be the same as manualling (ex. you lean too far forward in a nosegrind and you bite and fall, and if you lean back you go into a 50 50). i'm still interested to see how tail/nose slides and blunts and salads, and any other grind is going to work

An IGN thing said the guy watched him get into a grind with no meters for balance on the screen but it appeared that he moved the stick a little bit to keep a balance longer than if he hadn't. I don't remember which one and am too lazy to look it back up but I have seen it and it said somthing very similar to that, so I guess you don't have to balance but if you wanna do a long grind you may have to, but what do I know?

pjladdwhl07 i agree 100% and yea for the dude above me i read that too i think thats the hands on from march but your exactly right but i think the harder the grind the more balance it takes like you probablyto balance more on a crooked grind than a boardslide
