One important thing to remember is this is a Tripod Shot! Make sure everything is steady as possible! Capture Card works a lot easier also. Another tip when your filming your friend you don't want him hitting your body/or any icons that would be on that bottom left hand corner. You will notice in the Before & After Video how the skater rides between both.

I watched the vid because I didn't know what to do after cloning. All pretty simple after watching that.

Also, is that garage band in your dock?

thats pretty much what i do... i use a little more cut & paste in photoshop instead of massive use of the clone tool to keep things a little less muddy.

also if you add some feather to your masks in after effects, you can eliminate any sharp lines if theres a change in color across the time of the clip (something i've run into in a couple instances)... although in your example it looks really clean.

nice job man.

thanx adam yea i know using a lot of clone stamp sometimes makes it ugly. I did add some feather, and a box blur to get rid of any sharp lines but yea hubba hideout was pretty much the only hard challenge.

PS the new thing is adding textures on spots I added grass on one didnt come out too bad..

maybe some lava?

I know I said this in another thread but between in n out and adam, you guys should try and reverse the effect....put "somebody real" in San Van. I know if you use the lasso tool and soften the edges you can isolate a single object out of a pic. Why can't you do that with vids? I know it would be some work but seeing a real life person skating in SV would be crazy!
