I'm new here. And I tried searching the forums, and tried the live chat. Chat was not helpful, and searching turned up nothing although I suppose it should have?

Here's the deal. This is my husband's game. He has SERIOUS memory issues (early dementia). So he can play, because he played Tiger Woods on earlier systems and he's a major golf nut so swinging is perfect. I bought this game to encourage him to exercise more - and YAY! It's working stupendously well!

Anyhow we have a Wii, which we use pretty much only for the golf game. And we just got it online... and I'm trying to figure out how to put in the codes for the bonuses and such. I don't want you guys here to tell me the codes. My husband has already unlocked a few. What I need is a walk through for putting them in to the game so that my husband can play with whatever goodies he has earned. And for the life of me I can't figure it out!

Because my husband plays four or more hours a day - EVERY day.... and hearing the caddie say "Y'know, I was in the restroom and I overheard (code phrase) " over and over and over over is starting to drive me a bit over the edge.

Hi Margaret.

Write down the codes as you or your hubby gets them. After the round, save your game. Then go to "options." There is a "Password" Box. Click on the box and enter the password. Then go to the pro shop to see/buy the items the password has unlocked.

In TW 11, there was a way to increase the power you could gnerate by adjusting your accuracy, fade and draw. For instance, I was able to get another 25 yards on my driver but sacrificed accuracy to do it. There was a screen you could go to adjust all the clubs in your bag. I am now at the top level of the game but there does not appear to be a way to make a similar adjustment in TW 12. I hope I explained this properly and that someone out there knows what I'm talking about and can help me. I play on the Wii platform. Thanks.

I just won the FedEx Cup and didn't get credit from the Callaway Sponsor. Do I have to have all Callaway sponsor items equipped? I cheaped out and bought the Nike sponsorship months ago. Or is the FedEx Cup awarded at the end of the season?

In Tw11 for the Wii it was called "THE CLUB TUNER" where each section of clubs could be adjusted re power,spin,loft etc.

This was taken out of the game in TW12 so everyone hits the same distance and there is no risk/reward by being able to alter the clubs characteristics. A bad mistake by EA IMO . So you havnt missed it it just isnt there

I don't know about the wii (since this is the ps3/Xbox forum) but on ps3 the tuner is there.

i was listening to caddy and he gave me some passwords for tiger woods pga 12 masters playstation 3
.i went to page to put them in and there is the l character there and i cannot delete it. put the code in and it says invalid.spoke to customer service and they advised me to come here.how can i fix this.need all the help i can get.lol thanks

Ive never heard the caddy give a code on ps3. Thought those were only on wii.

You can't import your actual golfer, but you can import a portion of the XP you earned from 2011 to your new golfer in 2012[/quote]


I Can't figure out how to import XP from my 2011 game. It's saved on the same consol I'm playing 2012 on. PS3. Can you help me?

Sigh. Just saw the message with the youtube video. I missed the import when making my golfer. Guess I'm out of luck, huh?
