Wow, it's game over for EA if this is true. That would be a sick collaboration between the two and trust me, 2K WILL listen and implement what sim fans want.

This could get scary for EA in the next couple of years but there will be competition at last and both companies will be trying to outdo each other which means = we benefit from it as fans.

I doubt if it's true. Last year around December there was supposed to be a boxing as well, but obviously, that didn't come true.

They can capilize on what EA did excellently in Fight Night and correct the many mistakes EA has made when it comes to boxing. Attention to an actual simulation of the sport in gameplay, presentation, and realism would sink the ship that is Fight Night. I can't wait.

I feel like this is an Obama moment right now lol. YES WE CAN, have a simulation boxing game without gimmicks that are not in actual boxing while having controls and gameplay that is not simplified.

Once 2K Sports makes a ground breaking new boxing game with great gameplay and realism then I will never touch another EA boxing game ever again even if they do step up to the plate once they have some actual competition.

Your ship is about to be sunk Fight Night. Its already on its way down to the depths of the abyss due to this last installment.

Once 2K makes this a reality then the only fans of EA's Fight Night series will only consist of spammers, noobs, and little kids.

Who knows, maybe 2K developers are reviewing this forum as we speak to see where EA is falling short and to implement what the fans want in a boxing game that EA has failed to implement sucessfully or not at all.

I would love it if it were true. EA NEEDS some true competition for their boxing series. However, since it's on wikipedia, I'm not going to entertain the idea until it has been confirmed by a reliable source.

That said it needs to be leaps and bounds better than that POS Don King Boxing. What I do know is if 2k/VC was in the boxing market for half the time EA has been we would have a far superior game.

Yo. Prizefighter had to be the WORST game ever made! But it wasn't made by vc, it was made by venom games, and they went out of business right after they made that crap. I got faith that vc would put just as much effort in a boxing game than they did NBA 2K11. I jsut know that they wouldn't half step and they would do it right!
