Seriously, I've spent the WHOLE day playing FNC and EVERY, SINGLE, OWC fight is one punch spam.

EVERY fight...........

Round 4 had hyper punchers, but at least it wasn't almost EVERYONE doing it. You could find some guys who could put up a good fight without exploiting.

FNC?

Pffft............EVERY fight is the same boring thing, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

There's only so many times I can play "jab you and try to get away before you hit me with that xp boosted right hand"...........

When Round 4 came out, I was on OWC like white on rice. People had different styles and ways of playing, but we were all equal. Skill was the deciding factor. Figuring out your opponents strategy and finding a counter for it was the name of the game.

Someone jabbing a lot? Time them with a weave.

Someone throwing a lot of punches? Let them wear themselves out and attack at a later stage when they are tired.

Someone being defensive? Step in with straight punches and move away.

This time around, its like I can tell what the rest of my OWC fights are going to be like forever. EVERYONE just does the same thing.

The EXACT same thing. Punch and block. Punch and block. Punch and block.

In terms of being a mode in a boxing game, its no fun at all imo.

The sad thing, is that FNC as a boxing game is MUCH better than Round 4, but as far as I'm concerned, the OWC part of the game has ZERO to do with boxing.

I think I'll just stick to unranked. Less cheese, more fun. I was hoping I wouldn't have to resort to doing so this quick after all the promises of an anti-cheese/lamer game, but dealing with this crap from the very first day of playing is horrible.

Just do what I do. Play offline until they fix the garbage fest online.

Champion Difficulty
Presentation to Simulation
Counter Windows 0
Stamina 4

It's the online gameplay that is making people hate the game. I hated the game online and I still do. I refuse to play online until it's fixed. I am having too much fun playing online, knowing the CPU will give me a challenge and will box with me.

I've adjusted a few fighters in skills & athleticism. I love the game offline but online....... I want to break my controller or even worse, break the disc.

I've spent more time making CABS than I have playing the game LOL.
There's even cheesers in that, guys taking my CABS and uploading them as their own work. I see the same face I created look at the CAB, and many have the exact same attire, so yep, that's one I did. It's actually the most fun and challenging part of the game. You get something different every time, white faces on black guys, black faces on white guys, you never know what will be generated at the end and it sometimes even looks like the photos you uploaded to Gameface. Hours of fun. I'm out on my own on the CAB leaderboards ( yes they have one). Much more creative than spamming or holding block, power modify and hook, hook, hook, hook, hook, hook 300 times.
I even got to the end of Champion mode in under 4 hours, saw Frost and thought, whatever....................... didn't even complete it ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz LOL

I know I'm honestly not kidding, that says it all for me as an online player. Funny thing is I'm about 80% wins on-line, the power punching spamming is just out of control, why even bother.

Yeah offline is a completely different experience.

In Round 4 I used to love making different CABs with different physiques and styles and watching how they fought so the AI tendency sliders and improved visuals/animations are a big plus for me.

I also used to love fighting other people online with CABs that I made specifically for my play style, but people always hated fighting CABs for some reason (even when I deliberately made their rating low) so OWC was a way to put my style and my skills to the test against others.

Now, style and skill mean ZERO.

*sigh*

@ lion - Gameface is a joke.

@AKBoondocker - I'm on 360 maayne.
