Looks pretty good, now all you need is a real wheel

I started with the MS wheel too, it's ok for a start but it gets much, much better when you get a better wheel.

No rig for me though, just a desk.

How much do those things cost? Holy crap, they look massive.

Ideally you need a spare bedroom, I'm setting up mine as a gaming snug and a chair/wheel/shift setup is going to cost about £1,000 but it will be worth it.

Wow, that's a lot. I have a spare bedroom for gaming, but, there is no way my wife would be happy about it containing a big cage and wheel. I would probably also feel a bit weird about playing a game inside of one. Do you guys feel odd using those when playing games? I'm just curious.

It looks great nice job, Heres my low buget build. It's made out of two old highchair frames
and a piece of osb board., about $25.00 to make. The pedal stop is adjustable too.

Before the paint job

After

Wow. I'm envious to say the least. Looks like fun. It's no wonder I have such a hard time with my little controller in hand. It's a far cry from laying back on my bed, trying to focus on my 52" plasma tv that I pulled out of the trash( girlfriend pulled my 100" of the wall one night while a bit tipsy). She has some anger issues. This tv was a victim of lightning, so the green levels are a bit high but I refuse to put anything else of real value into our home. After seeing all this, I'd sure like too.

Maybe I'll rent a storage facility and build a room inside. Maybe I'll put a kitchen inside too.

Seriously though. I like them all, especially the hand built PVC setup. Keep saving and you will have the wheel you want soon.

Have fun

Looks like you put in some time as well. Nice job.
Dust that stuff off though, it made me sneeze just looking at it. Nice work though.
It's cool to see people putting so much time into getting things just right. I would imagine that even the crazy expensive, pre fab setups require a great deal of assembly. I doubt they arrive at your door in a box the size of a compact car.

Cool to see. Enjoy it for those of us who can't. Go easy on us folks that are stuck with controllers and a pillow.
