Need for Speed Racing Games

is there a fastest car in the game? like i know that most of the cars are ment to be pretty even but is there a car that is a bit faster than the rest? and if so which one is it?

im talking about around a circuit, not just a straight line

i can make the toyota supra hit 290mph with nos,it could go faster than that if i had more track.

And by fastest you mean what?
Best top speed?
Highest acceleration?
Ability to fly through corners at highest speed without getting into sand?

Highest top speed car is works-tuned Pagani Huayra - in theory it can drive 411km/h though game has almost no straights where any car can achieve such speed. Ofq. proper tuning can fix this problem to a degree

As for the rest - figure it out yourself. It's part of the fun in this game

ps. Curious fact: Caterham Speedlight is the lightest car in game - only 570kg.

Yep, I know. BUT: that's what the game says. That Huayra Works is the one with highest top speed.
The actual speeds can differ from declared one depending on a tuning applied. It can be more, as you've shown on the post linked, or less trading off top speed for better handling. Tuning is a key in this game.

Im looking forward to the Drag DLC. I wonder how quick the scion TC drag is, and the twin turbo viper as well, more records shall be beat!

Got my F1 up to 278MPH before the wall came. If we have a 10 mile straight I could easily top 320MPH.

When will these kids learn that the fastest car is only as fast as the driver racing them? Granted, a masterful driver can produce faster times with specific cars. Yet that also falls on the driver's racing style.

If the driver isn't a good driver, then the car is useless.

That's true, but the most important part is that your car needs to suit your driving style.

Some people, even: many people tell that Veyron is tha best but for me it's total crap, I manage to get better times with cars having PI even 400 points lower.

So instead of looking for a raw numbers - get inside the car and find what suits You best.

My V10 Swapped Supra does 240mph all boost no nitrous,my 2JZ Supra does 190mph all boost no nitrous,and both cars are street weight,can't wait for that standing mile dlc!

Yep, all of the above will make a car "fastest in the game"...

The Lmaoborghini Murcielago and Bugatti Veyron, also Gumpert Apollo have the fastest accleeration, top speeds, and handling (assuming you can handle the massive HorsePower and trhottle lightly and feather. These are 3 of the best cars to pick if you are going for autolog records, since it will not sort by class.
