Rare Freeze issue - Updated 7-9 8:30 PM

Used the patch and got the same problem until I started a new Legacy. Thanks so much! EA is my fave!!

How are you sure it worked? The freezing seems to occur well into a Legacy, the patch was just released.

Do we know if this "patch" that we all just downloaded is the actual fix or something else?

You have to start an New Legacy Career. This for the Double Booking Fights and Loss of Hair Texture of usgae of Existing Boxer in Legacy Mode. Hope this Helps

no it doesnt work

i started a new legacy

fought the first fight, then tried to start the second fight of the amateur tournament and it gave me the disc unreadable error

So then there is no fix for the Legacy's we invested so much time in?

are you freaking kidding me..so this update fixes the glitch but you have to start a new legacy...so the one i worked at for weeks is just gone down the crapper..thanks EA,,ill be sure to get rid of this game by the end of the week. i flat out refuse to start over on the general principal of it.. im in 2019 and 48-0,no bloody way i go back to the stupid amateur tournament..this is the kind of stuff that should have been fixed before release..instead you dont really care,and just screw over the people who buy the game at no real cost to you because you allready got their money. Screw you EA,screw you

I seriously hope that this isn't the fix/patch that most of us have been waiting for. I believe EA stated that it would be released some time in August. (Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not sure.)

I'm assuming this board is monitored/moderated by EA, it's been a while since what appears to be an employee has addressed us, maybe now would be a good time for some one to take responsibility and give us a straight answer. We all paid good money for this product. (A very buggy one at that.) We've earned (hell down right bought!) the right to have our concerns and questions answered in a timely concise fashion.

I have a few of questions:

1. Why haven't you updated us since 9th July? Any news is good news! I want to play my game!

2. Will the update work on saved games? If not I may as well start a new one now

3. I've been prompted to update the game but it didn't solve the problem - is this solely for the DLC?

I appreciate that you are working on this, but I have paid full price for the game and I expect to be able to play it!

you expect to actually play a game up to is so called capabilities when you pay full price for it? Nah you dont say.. well at least thats what EA seems to think,we dont care how much of an inconvience we caused you,we got your money already so p*ss off,is what they seem to think

how do we know this is the patch that fixes legacy freeze...namely fighter corruption (not 'missing hair'...but the pixelated faces for cabs in legacy during stat screens...and leading to freezes if those fighters ever cross paths.

the first update only had to do with online (removing huds). is this really their attempt at a patch or another 'update'?

I may dl and sim a bunch of years to see....but honestly I'm sick and tired of putting the thing in my console.

sounds like they screwed this too though....after updating online players are getting mixed up configurations (switching to button mode randomly) during online fights. P$3 users don't get patch till Aug. 360 got it last weekend.

So I go to start a new legacy today just to test things out and guess whats missing? Thaaaats right you guessed it boys and girls! My CAB is no where to be seen!

So the nightmare continues.....

So I'm going to ask yet another question...hopefully this one will be answered.

Is EA planning to release a patch/fix to address the current freezing issue within a legacy. Specifically, when you try to train for a bout and the game freezes at a particular date. I don't think I need to go into more detail than that since this has been mentioned several times previously. Or are we know expected to go through the whole process of starting a new legacy and re-creating our CAB's?

Simple enough question for EA and its many staff member's.

Hey! Yes, i also bought the game couple days ago and it freezes right when i start it up on the title screen...*frustrated*
Yes i have tryed formating the disk and nothing works.. i have absolutely nothing ( i never had any kind of music ) on my x360. I havent tryed the demo either..

Here goes:

When did you purchase your console? Over a year ago

Remaining Space on HDD after the download, 11gb

Connection Speed 2Mbit

Router type/Model : ADSL

Wireless or Cable? Cable

What time and date did this occur? Everyday/time : Everytime i try it..

Do you have other games that freeze on the machine? No.

Troubleshooting: no

What is your Gamertag? Kuijen

Where does the locking up occur? Title? Menu? Gameplay? Title screen.

Does it always lock up at the same spot? Yes.

Does disconnecting the network cable help? No

Is you console connected to a PC? Does disconnecting it from the PC remedy the issue? No.

Does removing your HDD remedy the issue? No

Do you have custom music or streaming music on your system? Does moving that to a memory card and deleting it from your HD remedy the issue? No

Does it still lock up without a profile signed in? Yes

id rather my game freeze at the start then to have put in hours and hours of work,only to be told"Sorry out update cant fix the glitch we put in your game,so you are screwed and have to start over" Screw you EA,screw you

I have the game for the PS3 and have experienced freezing in Legacy Mode too. I'm stuck in a pre-fight training session where I was supposed to train in 3 sessions before my championship fight and have 1 training session left, am able to initiate a training of my choice but when it's completed it freezes up. If I try to simulate the last remaining training session to get to the fight it also freezes, and if I try to simulate the fight it freezes, trying to jump up in weight class causes it to freeze too while the audio seems for the most part to keep working.

My brother has a profile in Legacy Mode which he seems to be able to use with no issues so far on the same console, could it be because i have more fights in Legacy Mode than his Legacy Mode profile does? Please reply.
