SKATE 1 ALL DAY!
I have S1, S2 and S3 but i cant stop playin skate 1, i love that game because its so....skateboarding

I wouldn't consider myself one of the active community members, and tend to visit the forums now and again, mainly because i have a very demanding job (i'm old-ish) and just don't have as much free time as i'd like to contribute to the community.

I can't see the community dying, but i can see it getting smaller, which isn't a bad thing, it just means the people that still love the game will be talking and sharing stuff with like minded individuals. I know i'll still be here. the skate games for me have longevity because of the free world element. its the same with GTA, everyone of the GTA games gave me hours of play, from doing missions to mucking around, and skate thankfully is the same.

I started on skate 2 and progressed to s3 and recently purchased s1. Just becasue s3 is the most recent doesn't mean I don't enjoy playing og and s2 as well. I love switching between them and making vids, and i dare say that If they make s4 i'll still play the original 3 as well. I think its important to change things up, as each game feels fresh when i play it.

oh and I cant see myself moving to shaun whites, as i personally think its look awful! lol

on a side note. EA if your listening (or should that be reading) my other pasison other then skate boarding is trials bikes (street trials to be specific) if you fancy making a free world, street trials game i'll never play another companies games again! i'll even change my name to Electronic Arts! If you've never seen it, search you tube for the inspired bicycles video featuring Danny Macaskill and tell you wouldn't find a game where you can da the stuff he does fun!

I've rambled and gone off topic, sorry....oh and apologies for grammar and poor spelling/typing. 12 cans of stella do that too you when you've not eaten all day....

I have OG, S2 and S3, so I guess I'm an old timer. I haven't made any videos because, well, I don't know how. I can't use the replay editor for $#!% and I don't know how to capture video. But I enjoy coming on the forums, watching videos and all of that. I just don't like the ponces that come on here and act like... well, ponces. So, in a year... it will be a Renaissance. No haters, just players. It'll be fun.

Everybody goes back to OG and skate 2 to return the kush pop to full power...

I pretty much quitted when I played Skate 3, Realistic mode bugs and Anti-Railmagnetism are even more frustrating than trying a trick in S2 for 3-4 hours...

I think it has to be said that it's rather unlikely that Black Box and EA would throw this game out after five months. And it's also unlikely that there will be a Skate. 4 announced five months after Skate 3.

Yeah we'll see what happens..
we can assume what we want but the community goes where it goes, does what it wants..
some discipline when the moderators think something is out of hand but most of the time unrated..
maybe get some active moderators that might help a bit;
Not saying we don't have active mods.. but all of the out of hand threads seemingly go on to date.

In a year the forums will hopefully be like S2 forums were before S3 was released, most of the fake fakeboarders will be gone & the people who really care about SKATE will actually get there vids viewed before they're pushed to the dark pages in a matter of hours due to all these Jonny come latelys posting stuff that sucks.
