Need for Speed Racing Games

hi all, i'm new to forms and i'm having a problem with nfs shift.

my sys is a PC running windows xp pro with sp3 installed
CPU is a AMD athlon 64 x2 5800+ 3.0 GHz and 2 GB DDR ram
video card is a Nvidia GeForce 8200 with 512 mb of ram

every time i try to run the game i get a error shift.exe incountered a problem and needs to close. i have uninstalled the game 2 or 3 times and reinstalled and get the same thing. i checked to insure the game was in the registry but dont know where to go from here can anyone help????

Download the appropriate fix here. Had same * error, but works now. havent started playing yet though.

I just downloaded NFS Shift. Started the game with Downloader, and it goes directly to the practice laps without any chance of selecting a controller. Plus, I can't get a menu option to select anytime. What's happening?

Why are the need for speed undercover servers down?

recently i ha installed need for most wanted in my system..everything is ok but while i was playing in between the play the game crashed and giving me error"nfs.exe has encountered an problem and needs to be closed.sorry for inconvienece" this problm was araised even when i was playing motoGP 3 also......before 1 year i used to p-lay nfs but no such problm came but now it is comng...can any one help me out plz....my system details are mentioned below:::

i have downloaded need for speed undercover full version from vuze. i installed it successfully using the key supplied by the key generator. but when i am trying to run the game its again asking me the registration code. and its not accepting the code which i have used while installing. plz help me to solve this problem.

Unplug any peripherals other than keyboard and mouse and try it if it works gradually add anything else you have untill you get the error again, for me it was Track-Ir and Saitek Rudder pedals.

I installed NFS Shift and I cannot have access to the Options menu. When I get to the screen of Select Language the cursor does not move, it is as if the key Enter is being pressed. I am running in Windows 7
