dont expect EA to admit its their servers. they are gonna tell us that its all of computers. lol. think im joking watch and see. how about having to sign on 3 times before the home page loads. never loads on first try. get a guru error message. this game has gotten so bad its sad. members are leaving left and right. just look at the sponsorship pages. there used to be over 25 pages now there is 4. ea just keeps on doing their thing with no regards for its members and now they are seeing the effects of their ignorance.

I'm glad to hear that you guys don't have many connection losses, I for one have up to 16 connection losses every day.
I cant spend up to 1 plus hours trying to log into a game. I can clear the cache, history, temp files and so forth, shut down restart which is everything the infamous ea devs say to do too no avail!!! What will they want me to do next? I guess I will have to move in with them and play on there server that apparently has no problems. Thanks EA please invite me.

Hotfix/Work around
ok i fixed it  (with a work around  )
this is for login only and google chrome only (it should work with other browsers as well, but i have not tried it)
step 1
find a friend with a working google chrome
Step 2
go to C:\Users\*username\AppData\Local\Google
on working pc, copy everything in that folder
to something (flash drive, cd, whatever)
Step 3
go to connection lost PC
go to C:\Users\*username\AppData\Local\Google
delete everything and copy the files from the working pc to your pc
- start tigerwoods online
- play

this connection loss and log in problems reach way back to april.... Ea It has been six months what is taking so long to figure our the connection loss and log in problems. It seems things got a bit better for a while then they got really bad. and now It is near impossible to get through a multiplayer round with out someone getting kicked

why cant this game's bugs be fixed? EA rough percentages are out of whack |

Yesterday I got connection loss 7 times before I ever got to lay a game. This is not unusual. And it takes FOREVER to load a game. I've about had it. How do I get a refund for my annual fee?

4 Connection Losses already in my 1st round today at the No Preview Tourney @ ScottsDale. Always had nearly zero problems with this happening before Origin And TW12. Time for someone from EA to step up and let the customers know when this might be fixed.
EDIT: Now I can't even connect to "Resume Round"
Tried Firefox, Chrome, and Comodo Dragon.
I'm posting this in multiple threads in hopes of having it seen and addressed. Come on EA.

srsly EA....i been trying to enjoy a nice relaxing MP round for about an hour now....got maybe 3 shots in....4 or 8 aborted rounds due to 1 unity crash + many disconnects by various people...
oh, the humanity...

Does anyone bother reporting the error to EA when the server disconnects you. I stopped maybe 3 month and 250 disconnects ago as I feel I am wasting my time.

Server disconnects are very bad today....the worse that I have ever seen it. On average I get to play 1 round and then have to load 4x in order to play another round due to disconnects.

For me the disconnections are vry bad alot of times, especially durning a TBMP, however alternate shot is working pretty good

I give props to a lot of you guys, I really don't know how you do it, I get aggravated waiting for 5 minutes to log in and I'm really not an impatient person. I don't think I could deal with all the losses and disconnections. I hope all the problems get fixed, EA doesn't realize all the dedicated members that it has that would be happy with just a smooth running game.

I've tried all afternoon to get a game going. Nothing but "connection loss". I give up!! I'll lose my streaks but I'll lose my mind if I keep trying and keep getting shut out.
Travis: You said on 4/13 you knew there was a problem. It has been almost 6 months. Surely a company as big as EA can dedicate enough computer power or hire enough geeks to figure this out, if EA is really trying. Ever since you went to the new format the problems have gotten massively worse. Why did you change? It was fine the way it was. At least we could get on and play most of the time.
Also Road to the Masters. Why would I want to pay more money and have to start on mini-tours and work my way up? I'm legend 92 now, why would I want to go back to nothing? Makes no sense.
If this isn't fixed in 2 weeks I'm going to ask for the rest of my subscription back in cash. This is a bunch of crap!!!!!

no response from EA.....at least they would say they are working on it but these connection losses are endless
and very annoying. What are we paying for? Are EA going to compensate us for all the frustration? I have not
managed to play once in the past 24 hours due to connections loss and it seems to be a total waste of time.
So come on EA, lets hear something from you otherwise come April - if not before - you are going to lose a
whole lot of customers.
