my team has been around since og skate. we have always
kept it low key and small. saves us on the drama. been
making vids ever since. this is only the 1st week that we
decided to go www but our perspective of what we do and
the work we make hasnt changed at all. our threads will
get buried, and i am sure the next dozen threads we post
will as well but we keep going. always have.

members of the community shouldnt give up though just
because their vids didnt get comments. especially teams.
if you think you want to rocket yourself to fame here you
will be the one rocketing your way out of sight. just relax
and keep making good work. take your time.

Now I know you're probably saying "well, I don't have to post if I don't like the video"

You're absolutely right. You don't have to do anything you don't want to do.

...but let me fill you in on a little something in case you guys forgot.

People that make these videos, take a LOT of time to make them. They take time out of their own real life schedule to make these videos to share with you, the community and would like SOME kind of input on their HARD work. Yes. It can be very hard work. I hear about some of the things people go through to get these videos out to you guys, and they get like 35 views and 2 replies.

To top it off, the video will be DOPE..

Now you're probably saying "Yeah, dope to YOU".

You're right again. Everybody has their own opinion but to be honest, we know when we're pulling the "favoritism" card. We tend to be too naive to admit it but that's not what this topic is about..

You guys should realize and understand that you're a TIGHT community. If you frequent here, you know the regulars. You know the "noobs" and you know how stuff works around here.

I get people telling me "I don't like EA forums because they act like they're too good to give feedback on my vid" I've heard this one LOTS of times. From lots of people.

While this may not be the case, the end result is a video that doesnt get a reply.

What I'm asking from this community in regards to EVERYBODY, FOR EVERYBODY is to get a response for their hard work. People from other forums who don't have a name get no replies simply because they're not known over here. It shouldn't be that way.

Our community may be a bit hostile but we all know each other SOME WHAT. We need to show a bit of courtesy and comment on people's videos if you watch them.

Watching "no-named" folk trying to get the attention you may deprive them of. You never know how hot their video might really be if you just take a gander.

Don't take this as an insult to your opinion on people's vids. But as a friendly reminder and a suggestion to all. Our community is tighter than you think. We may be LARGE but we're like a big house hold of folk that are down for the same thing. To have fun...

So consider it.. Sorry this was so long. I'm trying to help out EVERYBODY.

Agreed.

Totally agree with this, I've only been viewing vids on skate.reel & youtube so far. I've not used the forums very much yet but am gonna try and get more involved. I try and comment on each vid i watch on youtube & have posted 4 vids on YT so far & i've only had 2 comments so far. If anyone wants to peek them feel free just search for Valleyboy420.

i also agree. you know if you search youtube or whatever and you look at the new guyz on the block
and you watch their vidz. i mean yea, it could be a piece crap but if you don't say anything they're either gonna
give up or think that's how a montage is supposed to look. you could be screwin someone over with a view and no comment!

just telling them its nice and giving them a good rating doesn't help them at all.

It really doesn't, be honest, brutally honest if need be, just be nice about it...

Leaving a fake good comment does less good than no comment at all...

I love the way peeps seem all positive for any feedback, then when u say u dont like something they bumb off a few of ur stars. Learn from critisism.
