i have to admit that i finally broke down and bought a sh*tbox 360 so i could play madden. money is not a problem for me. but it does * me off that a company can have the power to decide which platform can play a certain type of game with absolutely no chance for someone that wants to fill that gap to try and compete in that genre.

microsoft is a good example of what happens when you have a certain market cornered. when they had no competition there OS was always crappy. the price has always been rediculous for what you get. there was no where for the average consumer to turn for a better product. bill clinton passed a bill that made microsoft break up into three separate companies which allowed apple to come into the picture. now with apple computers being more affordable and actually competing with microsoft the operating systems coming out for the pc are a little better. im not saying madden will eventually get crappy over time but if they had competitors then there would be a guarentee that they would be making football games to the best of there ability to keep drawing their customers. if not then the better football game would get the unsatisfied customers. competition is always good.

Ea wanted to stop pirating thats why they stopped making it for pc , now they can stop making it for xbox and ps3 to since pirating is the issue with those consoles to now to now. EA ,is a greedy company, they dont care about people, they make enough money why would they care ?

I was in line at midnight to purchase my copy of Madden 2010 for around 45 minutes and all I got was notification that Madden 2010 isn’t on the PC again this year. Prior to 2009, EA shot PC users the finger by releasing the PC version weeks after the console version. I wonder how many sales and how much profit they're losing from people boycotting them, pirating all their software instead of buying it because they pissed them off, etc.

EA , just keep the server up and running and give us updated rosters , OR send me a check so I can buy a console and 2010.Because I will never buy a console to take the place of my pc.But I will stop buying EA games!!!

It really doesn't matter. It's been the same crappy game for years. If I want to play it I'll play it with the old roster for the next few years. EA is bleeding PC customers. I wish they'd let 2K have the license. They've kicked butt on NBA and MLB. 2k Sports even has kiosks and reps at NBA and MLB games. The PC verson only costs 19 bucks. They get it. EA doesn't.

I just spoke with a help desk individual. I had no clue that Madden NFL 2009 didn't come out for PC. However I just built my new system so that it could handle Madden 2010. Now I find out there is nothing for pc. wtf. the man said that they were looking to retool things to make it sell again for the PC. MADDEN NFL 2010 IS THE BEST MADDEN EVER. It's been said by many a company. Who cares if people pirate it. GO back down to charging only FORTY dollars, though I can't believe I'm even saying that, for the crappy 10 cent piece of plastic that you use to make games.
50 dollars is an outrageous price for any cd, ask 30 for your product. Make the game harder to pirate, meaning if you do not have the brains to out-do some kid behind a desk with too much time on his hands... then you shouldn't have a job that you work at 40 hours a week making a game that you intend to make money off of. I'm sorry EA. You make some decent games and you're one of the most well known companies, but the fact that you're so bitter because you were the first company to have cd codes to protect you from pirating and that still couldn't stop you?... says a lot about how well run your company is.
You bought out NFL2k5, which was a way better game than yours, just so you could have a halftime show in your game since they patented it. You took their game developers and put them into your games. You have the best and only NFL game on market. You will always sell your product. You need to make games able to be downloaded online. Perhaps even have them able to be downloaded for half the price. that way you don't have to spend money on cds, and we spend half the money to play a game. you spend ten CENTS to store it in a hard drive on your computer database. we spend 20 dollars only for a downloadable game that we can do on a day where we're at school, work, vacation, ect.
Then we can all come home and play it for cheap, you make even MORE profit because you don't even have to spend 10 cents a cd, and we all get what we want. better yet, don't even sell your products in stores. this way people can't buy the cd and learn how to get around the files to pirate to others. they can only download the files directly from your database. make it so that if there is any change to ANY code on the game, it is inoperable. That is the simplest and best plan that I can think of if you don't' want to be pirated, and you make twice the profit. Get a friggin brain for marketing EA SPORTS. I'm an acting major, and I know this stuff better than you.

I don't have any kind of xbox or psp or whatever...all i have is a PC and i was very upset when there was no madden 09 for the pc. I am hearing that there is gonna be a madden 2010? Its already September so i don't think there is gonna be a 2010. I REALLY DO HOPE THERE IS THOUGH!

please make a madden 11 for pc...there are many of us here that will play and buy it...please give us a game

i wouldve loved to have madden 10 for pc, when 08 came out i bought 2 copies, one for me and one for my buddy who couldnt afford it. plus its way cheaper, i think it was 39$, rather than buying the console version, and you can crank up the gfx.

So what doesn't make sense to me is the other sports games that EA puts out are on pc, why not this one? Seems like a stupid decision to me

I found an rumor that there is not gonna be a Madden NFL 2011 game for PC and i think that's true. Now i'd like to hear it from the developers if that's true.

: i am very upset that there has not been a madden version for the PC since the 09 season!!!!! i would liked to have bought one for christmas for my son, beacause we are now bonding around playing the 08 version!!!!!...he has earmarked it on his pc as nfl10!!!!!...this needs to be resolved!!!!!, and i am most pleased that there are alot of us pc gamers left that still want madden for the pc!!!!!...ea, you developers need to take heed!!!!!
