So, it begins.
Will Nole's run continue?
I think he's gonna win it. It seems unthinkable that he can maintain the level he has been playing at, but to beat Nadal for a second time on clay after such a short rest from the punishing match against Murray. He is playing at a superhuman level and I really hope he does it (on the assumption that Murray doesn't make the final as I'd have to support him if he did).
It definitely makes for a more exciting french open!
We'll see.........

Are you a big Murray fan or do you have to support him because you guys are from the same geographic location?
I'm a Federer fan but you've got me thinking I should be supporting Isner since we're both from the USA... or Murray since I'm 75% Scottish.

I am a Murray fan, but it's mostly for patriotic reasons. We've been so starved of quality british (Scottish, english, welsh or northern irish) players for so very long (our previous highlight was Tim Henman for gods sake!) and so it's been very exciting to be able to have a genuine hope that I may one day see a british grand slam winner.
The US have had a continual stream of quality players over the years so you tend to have more choice, though slim pickings at the moment it has to be said

I am hoping that Sam Stosur wins the French Open! Stosur looked promising in her first round win.
She deserved to win last year after defeating two former number one's (Henin and Jankovic) and (at that time) a current number one (Serena) in the 4th round, QF and SF. Unfortunately, she clearly felt the pressure as the strong favourite in the final, allowing Schiavone to win...
And there is kinda a pattern I guess, SF in 2009, Runner-Up in 2010, perhaps the Winner in 2011 Fingers crossed!

Well my Anne Keothavong prediction was short lived. Out in the first round....that's so unlike her!
C'mon Elena and Heather. Only you can restore pride to British women's tennis!
